Sorry I haven't updated or posted in a while! Just been really busy with school and work and trying to catch up on sleep in between times. I was in the hospital last Wednesday because I had been sick with stomach flu or food poisoning like symptoms since that Monday and things had only gotten worse by Wednesday morning. DF kept insisting I go to the hospital Tuesday night but I refused, so around 6 in the morning (Wednesday) he pretty much made me go lol. I was so miserable because no food or liquids were staying down and even when my stomach was empty, I was still hacking my brains out. I kept blacking out after vomiting so I guess being in the hospital was the best place for me. When I got there, they got me in immediately and had me hooked up to an IV in the regular ER part. They told me they were gonna give me some fluids (ending up getting 4 bags) and anti-nausea meds and have someone from L&D come monitor the baby. When they gave me my first round of anti-nausea meds, it literally did not do a thing at all! I asked them for some more if possible and asked for more blankets too because I was having chills and could not stay warm at all. I looked so pitiful. DF was asking a million questions about everything. They had ran some bloodwork and said I had a bladder infection so they gave me antibiotics to knock that out. During this time a lady from L&D was looking at the machine monitoring the baby's heartrate and my contractions and noticed that I was having some pretty strong contractions every 2 minutes. I was so groggy from the meds that I really didn't pay any attention to anything around me, but I remember that they kept calling codes for my room. They ended up sending me to the other campus at the same hospital to the L&D floor. There they told me they were gonna give me something to help out with the contractions and perform a FFN. If that came back positive, they were going to keep me overnight which I was hoping wasn't the case. Thankfully it came back negative and I was able to get released by 5:00pm or so. I have an appointment on Thursday so I'm sure my dr. will be discussing things with me then. I've noticed that I am still having contractions as well though and they are sometimes painful so I will be sure to bring that up at my appt. I ended up having to switch to two flintstone vitamins a day too in order to help me keep my vitamin down since I still am having nausea/vomiting issues when I take those from time to time. Sorry for all the super long post, but just wanted to update you all.
