35 week appointment

Pretty boring appointment this morning. I talked with the dr. about the dizzy/nauseous spells I've been having and he said its definitely low blood pressure. Nothing can be done for it, he said I just need to lay down on my side whenever it happens and it should come back up within just a few minutes. He recommended that I not drive anymore, which is virtually impossible. I figured he would have me back in a week but he said I could go 2 weeks before coming back this time, but it would be weekly after that. He was like "so basically, you only have 3 more appointments before we deliver". Aahhh!!!!! 2 more week til full term....I am SO ready!!!!!

ETA: Baby is still breech and I have a sneaky suspicion that he very comfy that way and not going to turn b/c he doesn't move very much anymore as it is, so I am sure he's running out room in there.

That low BP is no fun. There was someone on my last BB that had the same problem and took a bad fall in the bathroom and chipped her tooth I think. Keep safe. Gald the appt. was boring and hope your LO does an amazing flip for you soon.

Low blood pressure can simply be a symptom of pregnancy, especially when it is most noticed going from sitting to standing too quickly, but it can also be caused by dehydration. Make sure you are getting plenty of water!! You often need much more than you think.

I hope babe turns for you!!

I hope baby turns for you too! I have a feeling that my LO must be extra long or something and can't really turn either! Lol

I hope he turns for you. That sucks that they can't do anything for you. Make sure you stay safe!

But wow you're almost full term! Yay!

My BP is often on the lower end. I've been told to drink a ton of water, which I sometimes (ok, maybe often) forget to do. Glad that your appt was boring, that's the best thing. My LO turned recently, hopefully yours will too!

I've done some "on all 4's" and some stuff with the birth/exercise ball but I am pretty limited on what I can do b/c of the BP issues I am having. =/

Sad sorry the low BP has to be scary! I've had off/on low blood sugar (at least my doctor guesses so, since it never happens the day of an appt), and those symptoms can be annoying, but no one ever felt like it was serious enough to test. Hope your LO turns! Smile

Goodness, dizzy spells don't sound good at all. Make sure to take extra good care of yourself.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that little boy makes a turn!
