Anybody having twins?

I know we have 1 triplet mommy, but I can't remember if we have any twin mommies. If we have twin mommies, I'll need to be sure to include blinkies for twinkies! (LOL, I crack myself up! - :sillywink: :p)

Yep. One of the perks of having a "high risk" pregnancy and perinatologist- I get full blown scans every 2 weeks! Doc predicted 3 girls at 13 wks and just confirmed last wk at 15+ wks. Smile

Do you have the big ultrasound scheduled yet?

I am having twins, sorry I have been missing in action I have had complications this past week. I started bleeding and they couldnt figure out why at the emergency room. Then when I went for a follow up at my doctor's office he sent me for a STAT U/S to check my cervical length. The u/s confirmed that my cervix was opening and I had to have emergency surgery to have a cerclauge put in. Now I am on bedrest and not due until April. However the babies are still doing great.

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts & prayers! That had to be unnerving! Hopefully this is encouraging - I have two friends that had early cervical issues in pregnancy, both in the past year. They both had to have cerlage, and each went to at least 37 weeks.

Samantha, I'm so glad you checked in with us! I hate that you are having complications. Hopefully, the cerclage will work to keep those precious babies baking for a good long time. If you get bored with all the resting, don't forget that we are here to 'listen' to any venting or moaning you need to do to get through it all.

Samantha- I'm sorry to hear about the cervix (def an issue on my radar, too). Sounds like you have very proactive doctors and I hope the cerclage helps things stay put. I've been reading lots about shortening cervix and many ppl say lots of rest laying down with feet up. I'm sure that's hard to do with little ones at home but hopefully you can find some help. take care of your self and the babies xo
