Appointment today

Well, I passed my glucose test. This is the first that has happened, so I am excited about that. I also only gained 2 lbs over Christmas which is amazing.

But he sent me for another US to check out a few things they missed on the first, LO was moving around alot. And he asked me if I had done the genetic testing for Down Syndrome with my family doctor. I had not becuase of the high false postives and we would not have done anything anyways but now I am nervous about that again. He said that is ok there is such low percentage chance. The first ulteasound did show a cyst by the brain, i know that is one of the 7 or 8 markers but there are a whole bunch more as well which did not show up. Hopefully this US can be scheduled soon so I can get the results and not worry too much.

We also talked about a date for my c-section, which will most likely be March 26. And then also having a tubal ligation done becuase we know we are done having kids.

I am now on to 2 wk appointments but that is ok becuase it means this baby will be born in 12 1/2 wks.

Congratulations on passing the glucose test! I'm taking mine next week. I had GD last time, and expect to get it again now.

I hope you get your U/S scheduled soon, I hate worrying about getting something done. And, congrats on entering your third trimester!

I had GD with my second but not this time. I really made sure I ate well for 24-48 hrs before the test and I think that helped. So excited for no testing or insulin, and no extra appointments.

Yahoo for passing the glucose. I have mine next Thursday and I'm nervous about it for some reason.

Did you have a c/s with both of your other babies? I hope you get the u/s scheduled soon.

YAY for passing! I get to do my glucose test next Tuesday and have an appt to find out the results and other lab work stuff and my rhogam Wed. I'm not too worried about it. Esp since DH should have the morning off while I take the test so I don't have to stress about the kids being at the appt saying they're bored or getting wound up or anything ha ha.

But WOW that you know about when your LO will be here! Can't believe how soon that is! Where has the time gone?!

Hope you get your u/s appt soon so you can see your LO again!

Sounds like an overall good appointment, and hopefully the U/S ends up just being another great view of the LO before the big day. Smile

yes, this will be my third. But neither one was scheduled. With DS I pushed for a hour but he was stuck and would not move his head. Then his heart rate started doing wierd things so he had to be C-sectioned. DD was suppose to be a VBAC but it did not work out because she was not progressing. So it will be nice to just schedule this one and not go through labour and then a c-section.

YAY for no GD!!! Wow I can't imagine knowing the exact date of birth!!! That has got to be so exciting!

Hope you get your next US soon so you can just get the stress out of the way and just enjoy taking a peek at your growing baby - and share lots of pictures of course Wink Hope that cyst has already dissolved so you can feel more at peace. Lots of hugs.
