Bleeding....

So, out of nowhere I started bleeding yesterday morning. It was enough to soak my panties and my jeans. I didn't freak, I just went and put a pad on and then sat on the couch the rest of the day. A good friend brought over mac and cheese for my 4 little ones for lunch and also brought over ham and green beans in a crockpot for us for supper. So, so, sweet! The bleeding did stop gushing about 4ish, but there was still blood when I wiped.

Today thus far it has just been brown blood, like the color you have at the very end of your period. It's been enough that I need a pantiliner, but that's it. I talked to my midwife who fit me in to come today at 4:15. We'll look to see if we can hear a heartbeat and schedule an ultrasound.

I've never bled with any of my other children before. I'm remaining calm, whatever's going to happen is in the Lord's hands. He gives and he takes away, yet my heart will choose to say, blessed be the name of the Lord!

I'll say a little prayer for you! :bighug:

I will tell you that I had about the same thing happen when I was pregnant with Zayne and it turned out to be nothing. I hope this is the same for you.

I never bled with my two kids either. Then when I was about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant with my current pregnancy I start bleeding and it soaked through my pants. I went to the ER to get checked out and everything was okay. It's scary whenever there's blood, no matter how far along you are.

I hope everything turns out okay. KUP!

I had the brown blood for several weeks, but it ended up being nothing.

I've heard of the bright blood before when the placenta attaches close to the cervix. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

I will keep you in my thoughts!! Let us know how everything is going. (((HUGS)))

Thanks for your prayers and thoughts!!!! I heard the heartbeat!!!!!!!!! Nothing more sweet and reassuring than that sweet, sweet sound.

I'm going for an ultrasound tomorrow at noon so we can see why I was bleeding. My midwife said that sometimes the placenta is low and hasn't moved up yet, but that in most cases it does move up. I'm just so glad to have heard that little heartbeat!

Yay!!! Yeah even with a partial previa, when it is this early, they move up a lot of the times. I hope everything is clear tomorrow for you, and super glad you got to hear music to your ears!

UPDATE

Well, I got my ultrasound done today and the baby bean looks great. The baby was in there jumping around, cute as could be!

My midwife called me shortly after and said she got the results and they found a dark spot on my placenta. So, she wants to schedule an internal ultrasound so they can take a closer look at it.

She said no sex, no orgasms whatsoever. This of course won't be a problem for me, as much as it will be a problem for my husband! But we'll do whatever is best for the baby, of course!

Thanks for your prayers. We just wait and see and pray.

oops...I said internal, and she said maternal ultrasound. She said for now there's nothing we can do, so she's going to wait a few more weeks and then schedule the ultrasound.

I'm just so happy to have heard the heartbeat and now seen the heartbeat and the little one very, very active!

So happy to hear your lil one is doing good! Maybe it was a subchorionic hematoma? I had one with my first and it was so scary, I was bleading period-like. I hope the bleeding stays away.

I know I'm late here (crazy busy this week and next), but I was instantly terrified for you and so happy to see that there was a positive update with a heartbeat!!
