Desmond's Weight Check...

I was really nervous about him going in for another weight check. Since Friday I have been writing down every time I nurse and how long and writing down all the baby food and how much he was eating. Then I had to get the stats from when I was a baby and my girls...

We went in for our 10AM appt and we got him weighed and measured and the nurse guy asked how much he weighed last time and when and I was nervous because I didn't get to see what the scale said. Then after he left to get to dr, he gave me a paper with Desmond's stats on it, so I looked finally. He was 14.6 lbs! and the 10%!!!

In TWO WEEKS he gained 1 1/2 POUNDS! The dr was so happy! he went from the 3% to the 10%!!! I wanted to do a dance lol.

So no tests for Desmond. Since he was eating so much baby food (like 4-5 oz a day!) he packed on the pounds lol. He is 20% for weight too (25 3/4 inches I think is what the paper says). YAY! Happy dance!!!

20% for height, not weight. And it won't let me edit it lol.

Great news! I'm just catching up with the board, so missed all the worry after your other apt. Do you know which chart your doc uses? Are they using the newer WHO weight/length chart (which is aimed at breasted babies) or an older chart (likely produced by some formula company like Nestl?)? It might be interesting to google the new WHO chart and see if it puts Des at the same % as the one your doc uses...
On the WHO chart, Ella sits around the 30% for weight, but if I plug in her stats to many American based websites, she'll come up around 10-15%...
