who's on fb. would you guys like to start a group on there in addition to here or just keep it here. I keep in contact with my ds1 group more now that we're there.....lazy I know but it's all in one place and on my phone

I would for sure keep up more with Facebook. I check it all day long.

I try to check in here at least once a day lol. But I am on FB more, esp now that I've discovered co-ops ha ha.

I like FB for certain things. I mostly use it to keep up with my family, but I do have some of my pg.org friends there. Personally, I love this site more because even though it is public, it doesn't notify everyone under the sun about what I'm posting and where. I can't keep up with the constant privacy settings changes on FB and how they always default to NOTIFY THE UNIVERSE!! I'm part of a cloth diaper swap group and I hesistate to post there because it will randomly notify people on my friends list of where and what I posted. Plus, I love that I can come over here for the juicy details when someone posts something on FB that I want more info on!

I also feel it's kinda wrong to come to this site and then go start a FB group and decrease the visits to here. I love the friends I've met on this site and want to see it continue to grow and make more friends. When you use this site to meet new friends and then use another social networking site to continue that friendship it makes it feel like cheating. JMO. I wish our board was more active as I'd love to keep up with everyone like I do my October 2010 ladies. It makes me sad that its so slow here.

Anna completely understand, I wasn't sure if I should even post this question or not. My Oct07 board was so busy on there we're a tight group. We were active for probably a good 2-3yrs. Even managed to keep out board separate while others were lumped for a long time. Someone started a group on FB and even those who aren't on my friends list have reconnected again.

I do like here more because I don't ever feel judged for saying or asking something. Some women on FB pages I'm part of can be so mean! There was a bunch of drama over BFing on the one group and how "people who BF think they're better" or "BFing is the only way to go" and other crap (thankfully I missed most of it and only say the aftermath of people who were hurt when they didn't even say anything).

I do wish our board was more active. And I agree, FB changes their setting so much that I keep having to try to figure out how to keep my privacy settings the way I like! ha ha.

I do like checking in here though I guess I feel "safer" on here than FB if that makes sense!

funny enough on my ds1 fb group some are currently preg and have asked just this afternoon about joining multiple boards etc....they've all said pg.org is so slow these days.....so odd
