How many naps is your LO taking during the day?

I start counting her naps after 7:00 am. She takes a morning nap that usually last 2-3 hours and then she usually takes two afternoon naps that last about 1-2 hours each. Sometimes she naps for maybe an hour in the early evening. She has definitely started being more aware during the day. We've started playing with with toys (rattles and those crinkly toys) and she lays on her mat and I make noises with all the hanging toys.

What is your LOs nap schedule during the day? And how have you started interacting with them?

I just wrote a nice (way too long) response, and hit a wrong key or something.. all of it gone. Beee

Anyway, little man sleeps REALLY well at night, getting up usually 1-2 times a night, but sometimes sleeps over 8 hours. He is often ready for the day around 9am (Could possibly say he's sometimes up at 7 & takes another nap til 9, I guess). We usually have 2-3 naps during the day (anywhere from 30 minutes to 3.5 hours), and he's most awake from 7pm to 10pm. That was his super-awake time in-utero too.. go figure.

As for playing with him - he loves his bouncy chair and musical floor gym thing, or just laying on a blanket on the floor if he's in the right mood for it. That's mostly when the girls are playing with him, and when I like to lay next to him and just talk to him. I like to sing and make him "dance" by bouncing him around. He gets into it, and tries to put some weight on his legs. I can't believe how strong he is.. he started trying to hold his head up the day after he was born, and only needs help now when he's mostly asleep.

Oh Cammi started holding her head up the day after she was born, of course not for very long, but now she can hold it for a good minute. Sometimes she bobs her head around, it's really funny! I've put her in her tummy a few times (not sure if I should be doing it yet or not) and she can't quite get her head up laying like that. She's pretty strong too, she'll lift her whole bottom half up when laying on her tummy and when sitting in my lap shell push off of me with her legs, which scares me because I'm afraid she'll fall. Cammi's most awake time is in the evenings too, anywhere from around 5 thru 9. Luckily she doesn't mind goin to sleep at 9 because that's when we go to bed. The other night she woke up twice in the early morning hours, but usually she'll sleep from anywhere till 2:30-4:00. Her usual time to wake up to eat is 3:30 though.

The past week Desmond has been taking power naps (meaning they're not longer than 45 minutes). He's awake a lot during the day now. He's entertained with DD2 and when DD1 gets home. Although, he also likes watching whats on TV (lol!) We do tummy time a lot during the day and I've been working with him on sitting! (I'll post a pic at the end of my reply) He's very strong and has rolled a few times. He does well holding his head up and can balance a little when sitting.
Oh, but with naps, I'm lucky if he takes one long one all day (about 2 hours). He usually is up about 6-7 and kind of dozes off and on until about 11 when he usually will try for a long nap, then dozes off and on all day until he takes his final feeding around 8-9. Then he usually goes to sleep a little after that feeding and will wake up between 3-5 and then eat again and goes to sleep for a few more hours (if he gets up around 5 he usually sleeps until about 7).

He's been cooing a lot more lately and he's even trying to laugh! I was making funny noises at him last night and he was cooing away and smiling so much and then did sort of a hiccup coo. He did that a few times and I can't wait until he's actually laughing! He likes him bouncer and seeing himself in the mirror. And I swear, he is SOOOOO much easier than my girls were lol!

Here's my pic of Des "sitting" (more of a tripod).

DD2 was tripod sitting by 3 1/2 months. I'm wondering if Des will beat her when he officially sits. It's so crazy seeing how fast our babies change in such a short amount of time. And I still can't believe I almost a two month old! (PS he's smiling in his sleep and it makes my heart melt!)

Archer still sleeps a lot. He has 1 hour awake sessions 3 times during the day which don't include nursing. Naps are at like 9am, 12 noon, 4pm, 7:30 and thats where we get into night stuff (11:30pm, 3:30am, 7am up to feed).

It varies. Today he napped from 7:30 to 8am and then from 11:30 to noon and now he's been asleep for about 10 minutes. He's down for the night anywhere between 9:30p and 11pm and then wakes up 2 to 3 times during the night. He was the easiest baby ever until about a week or so ago. The last couple of days he will start screaming like crazy every time I put him down, so it's impossible to get anything done and has been difficult to even stay sane with him and a 19 month old in my ears all day.

Peyton doesn't have a sleep schedule as of yet. He is sleeping thru the night now from 11-7.

During the day we do a lot of tummy time, he can lift his upper body up now and has complete head control, he hates his swing and bouncey chair, if he isn' t in someone's arms he wants to be on his tummy. He is very verbal. All in all he is an very good baby.
