I have a one month old????

I can't beleive it is already a month!!! I know everyone says time goes faster with the second... but seriously a month already???

So here's a funny story ... So as I've mentioned before we have our daughter who is nearly 5, and we also have two 3 year old foster boys, and of course our one month old little one. I was talking to my mum, and said "We have a four week old in our house." And my mum paused, and then said "You have a fifth kid??" She forgot too that time has flown by so quickly, she was still thinking that Heidi was only a week or two. I can't even imagine my life if another newborn moved in.....

Anyways, was at the doctor today and Heidi is 10lbs 6oz!! 3.5 lbs gained since birth, crazy!!!

It's crazy huh?! I still can't believe that there's some of us who have one month olds and others who haven't even had their baby yet!!!

She seems to be growing really well too! I can't believe how fast time goes by!

Wow grow baby grow! I am also shocked how fast it goes. It seems like the third time around, it's even faster!

It is a weird combination of time going faster, and at the same time I feel like I am enjoying her more. I think with my first daughter, I was so unsure about what I was doing and what to do with a little one and where to go and who I could find who was at the same place that I was preoccupied much of the time. This time I feel so much more comfortable in my role and in my community as a mother, so I am finding that I am just taking time to relax and enjoy being with her and immersing myself in each day. Is this how other second (or more) time mothers feel??

Right now I am just sitting on the couch with her sleeping beside me and just being with her.... there are loads and loads of laundry to fold, dishes to do, etc... but I am finding I just am relaxed and know that eventually it will get done, but I can never be with her at this age again...

Yep I totally feel the same way! Peyton is my 3rd, I think actually this time around it has been easier then the last time. I am just trying to enjoy as much time as I can with my little one. Since this is our last I am trying to soak up all the baby time I can!

This is exactly me. It's bittersweet to have a sweet little newborn for the last time, when you already know how much you'll miss it.
