like food?
feeding Adam is a PITA, every spoon gets spit out at least once/twice before he finally eats. He also doesn't really care to open his mouth and will sometimes keep his mouth tight shut.
I don't remember how long it took for ds1 to really care about foods. I know we started him earlier than this
For those fully interested in solids was it instant or did it take awhile (Adam has been eating for approx 1mth now). Any still not interested.
I offer at breakfast and dinner
oatmeal sometime rice cereal although I don't know why I bought it, I never gave ds1 that
banana
carrots
squash
peas

For Desmond it was pretty instant that he wanted solids, however, since he has learned he can also pick some stuff up and eat it, he hates when I try to spoon feed him. He's always trying to grab the spoon away from me and make a huge mess :/
I usually give him a spoon or two for his hands for me to spoon feed him, or else I've just been giving him banana, Cheerios, or Gerber puff things and the occasional pancake.

Heidi right away did solids too.. She was really quick to learn to pick up the food and put it in her mouth, so she has been pretty much exclusively feeding herself since she started. Don't know whether she doesn't like the pureed texture, or lack of control, but as soon as something is on the spoon, all the food she didn't want to eat from her tray all of a sudden becomes interesting!!! She also gets bored of food easily, and won't eat the same thing many meals in a row. So I can't make a batch of something and keep giving it to her, or she just throws it on the floor. This means that the easiest thing is to just give her our food... and now she doesn't even like it really cut up, so she will eat a slice of bread just cut into four, or chicken breast in pieces that are big enough that she can hold in her hand and just bit off little pieces.
Maybe Adam is wanting more variety or more texture or more control???
Hope you figure out a way to make meal time more fun!

Kole took a while. So did DD when we started her. It's still sometimes a hit and miss with him, but then there are times where he definitely seems to want solid food.

well found out that banana is a big no right now......poor kid got constipation and hard poo :( Even had blood again sigh
I picked up pear yesterday which went down so-so, he's still crying while pooing but it's getting softer. I also have plums for later.

Poor little guy... constipation is no fun. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon, pears are a big hit hear, and are keeping things moving, so hope that works for you too!

Poor guy. I hope it clears up soon for him :(
Des loves his bananas but I also try to make sure he gets veggies too because I fear him getting real backed up like that.

Poor guy.
Archer was pretty instant with food too. Maybe try offering him something hole to just mouth. Like with DS2 we would peel an apple or pear and let him suck on it (just check every so often for big chunks getting loose, not an issue if pear is soft) for a while. He loved having 'big' food.
