My OB's wife is in labor! (xp)

And they are birthing at home Biggrin He has been doing little picture updates on Facebook. It's so exciting!! Coolest OB EVER!!

That is exciting! However, strange he's a friend on facebook? Usually Dr.s won't do that in order to avoid being unethical/form dual relationships etc.

I've got her on my Facebook. She's a doula, I'm a doula... ya know!! He's been putting updates on her page, but I would bet if I added him he would add me too. The birth community out here is especially tight-knit. He is definitely NOT the average OB. I think his c/s rate is like around 1% (if that), and he is very naturally minded. He supports vbacs after 2 c/s (like in my case), is a back-up OB for a lot of the midwives out here, and he won't even do elective inductions at all. Like I said, definitely NOT the typical OB Wink

I have my ob, and Kidss pediatrician on FB.... I don't see where there is a problem with that.
