Not feeling so great.....opinions please!

Since yesterday evening I have been feeling very light-headed and nauseated off and on and extremely tired. What do ladies think could be going on? Just normal end of pregnancy stuff or something I should get checked? My next appt. isn't til next Thursday.

I think it is just end to pregnancy stuff. I have had that on a off, especially the nausea part. But if it continues, especially the light headedness I would get checked, you do not want to faint or pass out. Try to take it easy and not push too hard, I hope you feel better soon.

I've been feeling the same, paired with my ice obsession, I just assumed it was a low iron thing.

Call your OB if you are concerned hun and KUP!

I think it would be worth a call to your OB/MW to see what they say. They might move up your appointment to check everything out. How is your BP normally? The light-headed feeling could be related to a a BP issue.

That being said, it could be (and likely is) end of pregnancy stuff. I've heard that M/S can come back in the third tri for some women. And the light-headed thing could also be related to maybe being hungry or dehydrated. It never hurts to be safe rather than sorry when it comes to our LO's though, so if it were me, I'd likely call in to my OB's office and just let them know what's going on.

At my last appt it was 109/70, which is LOW for me at the doctor's office....I have white coat syndrome and my BP usually goes up to the 140/90 range the minute I walk in the door of the office. I think I will try pushing some fluids and getting some rest and see what happens. Thanks, ladies!!

Im sorry you're feeling like that. I had three instances last week where I felt light headed and kinda nauseous and I got something to eat and sonething kinda sugary to drink and I instantly felt better. I think I was dealing with low BP. I didn't call my Dr but I would say it wouldn't hurt to call.

Sounds like DEHYDRATION!! If your blood pressure is pretty low normally, then it is even more important to stay super hydrated. Drink, drink, drink! More than you think you need!

That's a good point! I feel like that when my blood sugar gets low, which eating and drinking something will fix immediately. Definitely worth a try.

Sad sorry you've not been feeling well!

I know I've had that set of symptoms, and felt like I was going to faint, walking to class from the parking lot. The doc office recommended upping water intake (I already drink TONS every day) and possible low blood sugar. The solution for that was to make sure I consume a decent amount of protein in the morning. That seemed to have made a decent improvement for me. Whatever it is, I hope you start feeling better! :bigarmhug:

Sometimes if your iron gets a little low it can also cause light-headedness so if you're not a vegetarian you can try and eat some beef and see if that helps too. So yes, all of the things everyone has already suggested too. It could very well be your body gearing up though. Hope you're feeling better soon!
