OUCH!!!!! (tmi)

Hi guys!!! Yea I know..I only post every now and then but I'm lurking a lot, promise Smile

So I have to ask if anyone else has experienced this. I've been carrying low, but yesterday it's like he shifted down drastically again. I had terrible bathroom issues all day yesterday and by the end of the day my girlie parts were so swollen and sore from the pressure baby is putting on me that I can't even sit down. I'm not having contractions (just one or two that I notice a day). I did a 24 hour urine test Thursday for high blood pressure and I've been in the hospital once already (supposedly kidney problems, had some bleeding and contractions at 22 weeks, cervix was soft but closed). Other than that, been pretty normal.

Anyone else freakin MISERABLE? I don't know if this is something I should be worried about. I don't remember feeling like this until right before I went into labor with the other two.

Yesterday I went pee like every 15-30 minutes. It sucked! Today if I bend down it kinda hurts but I've been having contractions off and on today. I too am carrying low, but not as low as what you're describing.

If you're real concerned I would call your OB and discuss it with them.

Try taking things slow and light too.

I have days where I'm more miserable than others. Hopefully it's just a change in position and your LO will move again to give you some relief. If not and you really do feel like you could go into labor, it might be worth a phone call to your OB. I'm sorry that you are having to go through such a rough patch, but I hope that's all it is. Today, my little boy has been on something in there that is making my belly hurt on my left side, it's enough to make me nauseous. I doubt it's anything but the position he's in, but I think I'll mention it to my OB next week.

KUP on how you are doing. I hope you decide to jump into the conversation more! Biggrin

I put in a call to my midwife and was SUPPOSED to get a call back within 20 minutes but it's going on an hour. Hopefully these kids pass out early and I can call it a night soon Smile

I hate when the OB says they'll call and never do. I would call them back and tell them you're real concerned.

It's no fun being miserable!

Feel better soon!

I also think it's a good thing to call the doctor, since it sounds like you've had reason to be nervous in the past few weeks. Bummer that it sounds like you didn't hear back though! Baby shifting out/down seems to be pretty normal for me, as well as some pretty uncomfortable sensations, but nothing that makes me feel like I can't even sit down and have swollen lady parts! eek!

I cannot sit straight down, I have to lay towards one side or the other and I am very uncomfortable. I am NOT swelling in my girly parts though and I think a call to the MW is a good idea if anything to put your mind at ease. I know increased blood flow and pressure does swell our gentle girly bits, especially if you don't have a very long pelvis (I'm very short in that area!), but I would still want to get checked or get some advice anyways. Besides you could have a UTI or something that is aggravating the situation. I was telling DH and mom I didn't feel this way until the last month with my other two and have been very uncomfortable the past week, it's like the baby had growth spurt or something. Hope you get some answers soon and that everything is fine.

Lots of hugs!
