Sitter question!

I should know this but maybe you guys can help some. I went back to work(2 weeks early) and at 6 weeks im going to be putting the kids into daycare. My mother inlaw was going to just watch them as she is not/was not working. She put on Fb yesterday that she is looking for work so there goes that option. I was wondering what are some thing when interviewing for inhome centers that you would ask/look at. The reason im doing in home is because i work 4-cl usually and there are no actual daycare centers for those hours. Caleb is a little crazy if he doesnt have attention as well so maybe a home based is better for him more one on one?

I know where I use to live (Houston area in TX) they actually had some overnight daycares. I guess it would be more night care ha ha. Anyway, I was going to look into that if my mom wouldn't watch DD1 years ago. I dunno about your area, but maybe look online.

The only other time I had someone watch DD1 was my mom and she of course did it at her house (it was hard moving her to our house at 9-10 at night).

Hope you find someone soon! Have you asked MIL about her post?

It would be till about 10pm till dh picks them up! I did ask her, she told me she cant depend on her SSI getting approved so needs to work. Hopefully there will not be many days that they will have to be there!

If you have little ones that need one-on-one attention, I would agree that home-based care is much better. Do you know any local *responsible* high school students with babysitting experience that need a summer/after school job?

A few years ago, I had to find someone to watch my girls that I hadn't met before. I lucked out and found an amazing person on craigslist. Now, the idea of leaving a newborn with someone I've just met.. that terrifies me. I hope you find someone great though! There are some really good people that know how to share love, and not just watch them. Smile
