    Default sleep, baby, sleep... PLEASE!!!!

Today was a crazy day... so Heidi was up at 7ish, and fell asleep when we were driving to swimming around 9:30 for about 10 minutes. Then she slept around noon, for 10 minutes and around 5 for ten minutes... finally she is down for the night and it is just after 9... I have just been going with the mantra at least she sleeps at night (she usually goes from around 9 to around 7 straight through) but seriously... she needs to sleep more during the day!! This is crazy, I get nothing done and she should need more down time.

Oh well.. guess I will just continue to be happy that at least she sleeps at night, and is super happy all day even if she is awake the whole time!

Heather everytime I see one of your posts it matches exactly what Cammi is doing! Yesterday she woke up at 9:30 and then didn't take a nap until 2:30! Ugh! And it was only for about 30 minutes. Then she took about a 15 minute nap at 5. Usually she takes 2-3 30-45 minute naps during the day. My daughter is no normal baby! Lol. Also she's just started sleeping in her crib this past week so shes been getting used to that and not sleeping thru the night. I think maybe she gets scared.

Anyway, I totally know how you feel about needing time to do stuff during the day and needing your daughter to sleep at least a bit! I hope things work out soon!

I feel your pain too!! Kole does little 10 minute cat naps all day too! It drives me crazy because I desperately want to get stuff done and the little booger won't let me.

Des was doing that but the past few days he's been taking nice long (like 3-4 hour) naps! Yesterday (or the day before) he slept most of the day. I figure he must be going through a growth spurt.

I hope your LOs begin sleeping more for you though.

Love the long naps!!! Lucky you! Although of course the few times Heidi sleeps lots, then I worry that she isn't going to sleep at all at night!! Guess there is no winning!

Soooo jealous of you STTNers. Bree has reverted to waking up every 2-3 hours at night, and only ever gave me a few 5 or 6 hour stretches. I don't know if it's a growth spurt, the little cold she had, or if we've been trying to cram too much travel into the last couple weeks of our summer vacation. Little girl seems exhausted.

We do not have STTN yet, she is usually up once or twice but she does sleep well during the day. 2-3 hrs. Till about 2.5 mths she only cat napped but then I laid her on her stomach and it was 3hrs. She is such a stomach sleeper. It does make me nervous but I just check on her lots and now that she is rolling she would be on her front even if I put her on her back.
