This too shall pass... or be careful what you wish for!!

So Heidi learned to roll back to front consistently on the weekend!!! So now I spend all day and night "rescuing" her from her stomach. She rolls on to her tummy, will play for a few minutes, but then needs to be rolled back onto her back when she is tired of being on her tummy. She is quite strong on her tummy and will play, but hasn't learned to sleep on her tummy, so every time she flips over at night, she thinks it's play time!!

In other news, it was my oldest daughters first day of kindergarten today! She was excited and had a great time, but I'm still not ready for it. Even though my house is still full of little ones, I missed her a ton. Guess I'm just going to have to make the most of evenings and weekends!

I read in the baby book I have, that around 5-6 months of age, babies start to have larger less frequent feeds. I'm finding that opposite that she is eating all the time, and I thought around 6 months was a growth spurt. Anyone else getting alot more feeding??

I've had 2 babies and neither one nursed any less starting at this age. I guess some babies do, but not mine. Yay for kindergarten! I bet it's hard to let your first one go like that and be gone all day. I hope she loves it. LOL about Heidi getting stuck on her tummy. Kole still doesn't roll over. He can and has rolled back to tummy twice, never has rolled tummy to back though.

She loved her first day! Off to a good start! I went back and forth between school and wanting to homeschool, but my husband wanted school. So I am hoping it all goes really well, but at the same time I have high expectations to live up to because it has to be better than I could do at home. Guess we'll see as the year progresses...

Desmond does that at night...where he will roll onto his tummy and get soooooooooooo mad and scream because he doesn't want to sleep on his belly. He likes to sleep on his side but he rolls too far sometimes. Gah it irritates me lol. Esp when he wakes up every few minutes for 2 hours about it (last night). I finally put him in his swing. I haven't been getting more than 2 hours of sleep at a time.

My daughter started 1st grade last week and it was sad but she's enjoying it. I hope she likes school for a very long time.
