Trying to come to terms with giving up BFing. My pumping has gone way down, even though I'm taking Domperidone. He gets frustrated because my let down and flow is super slow compared to the bottle. I think I'm finally at the point where it may just be more of a hassle than a benefit. Ugh, I hate this decision, it's always the hardest.
But, at least I made it a lot longer than I had originally thought I would! I was going to give up after 8 weeks, but I've managed 5.5 months. Not as long as with DD, but an acceptable length I think. Now to the blues of it being the very last time a BF a baby
Awwww, I'm sorry. That stinks. But I understand. You have to do what is best for you and your baby and nursing should be a happy, mutually beneficial experience for you both. And 5.5 is nothing to sneeze at. Way to go!
Don't be sad Even if you decide to give it up, you have done awesome at how long you did it for!

Well I nursed Tyler yesterday morning before I left for work. I pumped twice and only got a total of abuot 4.5 ounces. I decided that a long as I wasn't in pain I was going to be done. Well, I woke up at about 5:30 this morning hurting like the dickens. I nursed Tyler and he was a happy boy I figure I'll pump or nurse when I hurt but other than that I'm done. I might shed a few tears
aww sorry to hear but you've done amazing!!!!
hope the pain eases
