So anyone have any big plans for the weekend?
We are heading out to visit family in VA and to take my dd to see her dad for the weekend. So not looking forward to the 7hr drive
Not really. Dinner with the in-laws tonight, church and a couples baby shower on Sunday and that's about it.
I was supposed to go Christmas shopping with some friends all day Saturday but DH is throwing a fit about being home all day with the kids by himself so I don't think I"ll get to go.
I guess plan B will be grocery shopping and cleaning house.
Yesterday DH told me he has duty next Saturday, so this Saturday he is going paintballing again. (we agreed he can do it every other week so he gets his man time ha ha)
Sunday I'm hoping we can take the kids to a park to try and teach my older one to ride her bike she got for her bday. My younger one got a ride on toy we will take for her so she's not left out.
Although great news is that next Thursday and Friday DH and DD1 are both off so we can do something fun those days!
But other than that, I have no idea what we might do. I'm really craving Outback's blooming onion ha ha!
Not really any plans here. DH just got 'the call', but this time it was advanced notice. He has to leave tomorrow around 2 or 3 to go on a job. He'll likely be gone at least a week. So, as of tomorrow afternoon it'll just be me and DD again. I was hoping he'd be here for my appointment on Monday when they will schedule the biggy. But maybe he'll get to be here for the big one.
So it looks like grocery shopping and hopefully I can find some motivation to clean my house! And then there's church on Sunday.
girls sleepover with my friend NO KIDS NO HUBBY
Supposed to be 4 of us but one has sick 3yr old and twin 1yr olds so she can't leave hubby alone with them....the other has reports cards due so just me and my bff
I have a three day weekend this weekend!
I work with Veterans so we have a lot of stuff for Veterans Day...I will end up working 10 days straight after this, so I'm trying to recharge and get LOTs of sleep.
We're having our family picture taken in the morning for this year's Christmas card, then I have my company's regional conference the rest of the afternoon. Nothing planned on Sunday except church.
Super boring here... hoping to get the plastic put over the windows so it won't be so cold in the house! We have single pane windows, and the heat from the house just flies right out them. My daughter has soccer tomorrow too, which is always pretty fun. They play three on three so lots of fun for the kids since they actually get the ball and the pack isn't too big!! James actually doesn't have any training this weekend, so some fun family time!! Oh, and his convocation is on Wednesday, so I have some major grocery shopping and cooking to do to get ready for a big dinner with friends and family to celebrate!!
