Julie had her one month appt this morning. She weighs in at 9lbs 13 oz (which is a little less than a pound gain from about two weeks ago). I thought she'd gain more than that - now I don't feel so bad about her eating...lol. She's 22 and 3/4 inches, still a super tall baby. (Definitely got that from DH, I'm only 5 feet tall.) Doc said everything looked good. I asked about the varying poop colors and she said as long as it's not hard, it's fine. We discussed putting her on Zantac, but I said she doesn't scream when she lays down flat from gas/whatnot - she just wants to be picked up so I'm not sure Zantac would do anything. I asked her about the skin issues Julie seems to be having and she said it's normal. Actually, everything I asked about was met with "it's normal". Julie was FINALLY quiet long enough to get a reading on her heart and check her hips. Everything was good. Oh, and she got a Hep B shot ( the second one, the first one was in the hospital) and her face turned red from crying but once she got her breath back and I picked her up, she was fine. I was impressed lol.
Aawwww, I can't believe she's a month old already! It sounds like she is doing great. Yeah, I haven't been super impressed with Zantac. Reid is on it and he still spits up and gets super restless, especially at night, even though he sleeps on an incline. It's almost time for a refill and I've kind of been debating if its even worth bothering. So anyway, it sounds like she is just perfect.
