Henry is 2 months today and had his appointment. He weighs 10lbs 13oz, and is in the 50th percentile for weight and height and 25th for head. She wanted to do 6 vaccines today and I never did my research on vaccines so I just asked her if we could split them up. She is a vaccine friendly doctor, I found her on the Dr. Sears list. She was totally fine splitting them up so we go back in a month.
Henry's reflux got much worse last week, which makes me think its not all allergy related, since I have been eating good all week. So she wants to increase his zantac. I might wait a couple of days before I try that since we also just started back at the chiro. He was adjusted yesterday and today and seems better already. Last week he would finish nursing and screech the highest pitch noise you've ever heard a human make and then have projectile spit up. This week is better. I have also only been offering one breast at a time in the mornings and feeding him more frequently so he doesn't over eat. I swear he eats so fast that he doesn't know he is full. Or he feels sick and wants to nurse to make it better. Anyways whether the one breast at a time is helping him or the chiro, I don't know, but the past 2 days have been better.
Awww, getting to be such a big boy! I'm sorry that his reflux was worse last week, but glad it has been getting better these last couple of days. I hope all of this reflux crap goes away for all of us sooner rather than later. I feel like Reid is getting better than he was, which I'm thinking might just be because he's getting older and his sytem is getting more mature.

Vicki, the Doc wanted to do 6 vaccines, but I asked if we can do 3 of them. I don't remember which three they were, but one of them was an oral vaccines. I just didn't have time to research it and I feel like if I don't research properly who am I to decide which ones to get. One of my main concerns was him getting a bunch at once. So I'm glad she let us split them up. She's a very nice pediatrician. I interviewed another one that said spacing out vaccines is just torturing your child. I'm so glad I didn't go with her.
