Had my 36 week appointment today. BP is good, baby is head down and engaged. I'm effaced about 25%, but not dilated. However he is sunnyside up so she wants me on all fours whenever possible and told me of some different sleep positions to help him flip. He's still measuring 2 weeks behind, but she thinks its more his position that might be affecting my measurements. His heartbeat was in the 140's.
Got the gbs swab today, should find out the results on monday. She checked out my hemorroids and cringed and said "yeah that's pretty bad, but I've seen worse." She says she doesn't expect them to get much better before birth, since he is low and putting lots of pressure down there. I'm not constipated at all, so I know thats not contributing to the problem. She said I'm already doing everything I can do, sitz baths, cold compress, tucks, prep H, other witch hazel treatments. She said they couldn't do anything about them until after the baby. She said we would re-evaluate then and prescribe steroids and possibly have them lanced. So yeah these last few weeks will be uncomfy. Sorry if that was TMI.

Sorry about the hemorrhoids but on a positive note, glad to hear you and baby are doing well! Not much longer girl! So close! I bet you are super excited! I hope the next few weeks will be comfortable and easy! I will be praying for you and baby!

Overall it sounds like a good appt, Elizabeth!! Sorry about the uncomfy of the hemms but it won't be much longer and they can get taken care of.. I've never had them so I don't have any advice.. just offering some big hugs and relief!!
So sorry about the hems. I've never had them, but I've heard they can be terribly uncomfortable. I hope they go away quickly after birth. Other than that though, it sounds like a great appointment! Not much longer now...

Sorry about your hems... Don't know if I shared this before but my doc was talking to me about mine before rylee was born and he says plain as day when you lay down on side at night reach down and just push them back up. It's just a bulging vein and if hurting when not pooping that will help. I never did it because seemed strange and mine were not as bad as with my DD but thought I would offer his advice lol
