Everytime I see baby clothes, I want to buy something. But I hold back, one because I'm worried that this pregnancy won't work out, but two because I don't know the gender. Has anyone else bought anything yet? What about names? DH won't even talk to me about names.... this is how the convo goes:
Me: How about Logan?
Me: How about Chris?
Me: How about Zach?
DH: Hell no.
I'm set on Ashley Ryan for a girl (my middle name is Ryan).. so he's kind of screwed on that, haha.
I bought a belly band and a couple of maternity tanks and a maternity top that were super cute AND on a really good sale. But now I'm scared I jinxed myself....LOL Very rational, I know.

I have been looking at double strollers and into some babywearing stuff but haven't bought anything I am going to try to wait until I hit the 2nd tri before making any purchases. If we have another boy we won't have to buy much as far as clothes because this one will just be due a month before my son was born so they will all be weather appropriate.
I've bought a bella band and a pregnancy journal. We are talking names...just for fun. Pretty sure if its a girl she will be named Lucy. I have a huge long list of girls names that I love, but Lucy is the only one of those that DH likes. We have a few names for boys that we like. Henry, Samuel, Lucas, Elliot, Eamon, Ian, Gus.
No middle names. DH wants all our kids to have my maiden name as a middle name. Its unique bc its polish, but I'm not sure about it yet.
I haven't bought anything for myself yet, but my BFF from college & law school just found out she's having a girl and we're meeting up for dinner, so I had planned to enter the baby boutique on my lunch break to find her some pink booties from our alma mater. Not sure I can leave without acquiring SOMETHING, but I'm trying to wait til the second tri for baby things. I've already pulled my old bella band out of storage since I'm sure it's going to come in handy soon.
We've had a short list of names since our son was born. He has my maiden name as a second middle name and so will this baby - I hyphenated when we got married so it's important to me that they keep the name. It's three letters, and our last name is five, so it's not going to make their name a mouthful to say anyway.
It's a stretchy piece of fabric - like a big stretchy one-piece belt - that conceals unbuttoned pants/skirts and holds them up.
