Hi all, I'm Vicki (28 ) married to Tim (30) for 6 years. We have a son Micaiah (4) and a daughter Noel (2). We (well more like I) have been patiently waiting to TTC #3 and the first month we tried, we got it!

I love going the whole midwife/birthing center route which we tried with my son and it didn't work out. I developed pre-eclampsia during labor which escalated into full scale eclampsia when I started having seizures, was transferred to the hospital and had a c-section. Despite that whole stressful ordeal, my daughter was born very peacefully into water after 8 hours of manageable labor. I hope to repeat the same thing this time around!

Hi I am Sandy (28 ). I have a daughter from a previous marriage who is 4 years old and the spitting image of me when I was young :) DH and I had our first child together in May, an adorable little boy who looks just like his daddy. We just found out we will be expecting our next child and while it was not planned we are thrilled!
I have a history of losses due to MTHFR gene abnormality with a combination of low progesterone issues during pregnancy. So we are cautious but the Drs are doing what they can :) this will be a repeat c-section for me and I am totally thrilled with it! Still not 100% sure of my due date due to irreg periods but it will be towards the end of April but.....if past predicts the future I will go the begining of April as I had DD at 37wks and DS at 37wk 2 days.

Hi ladies! My name is Jessica, DH is Tim. We've been married for....3 months..:) We dated in 10th grade for like a month, he said I didn't pay him enough attention (which is complete crap, we went to Busch Gardens and I fell asleep on the way home and it made him mad...lol) so we went our separate ways. I got married to a guy that treated me like a maid and I dealt with it because he kept telling me no one would ever want me. I'm a big girl, so I believed him. I got a new position at my job and for some reason, I grew some self esteem. I looked Tim up on Facebook just to see what he was up too, we ended up talking ( at this point I was going through a divorce ) and we've been together ever since! On our FIRST date, he said he was never getting married again. (he had been married once before to a butthead I knew in high school). Well, that changed when he proposed on Christmas Eve 2011. I love that man something fierce.
Anyway, we started jlit last August. I got pregnant in September, but had a chemical pregnancy. I got pregnant in December/January but ended up with an ectopic pregnancy. I got the shots of MTX so my tube was saved. Then I got pregnant in June.
July 29th: Missed Period. Immediate + on HPT. LMP June 29th.
Aug 3rd: First Doc Appt - took blood and did a pap (did not check my Hcg Level which kinda irked me!)
Aug 15: First u/s. Incredibly nervous after tubal last time BUT baby is in the right spot, measuring right on and we saw a heartbeat! Yeah - I cried.

Aug 29th: Dating u/s. Heard the heartbeat..nice and strong. 165 BPM. Baby grew lots! They brought my due date up one day.

Sept 19th: I was freaking out over a pain on my left side and thought I might be having some (TMI) discharge. Nurse said to come in. I saw the MW who rolled in the ultrasound machine for some peace of mind. At first, looked like baby was just ...there. But the heartbeat was beating fast... she turned the wand thing around and there was baby going to town! Kicking and punching and bouncing all around. It was too cute! I'm *still* not really thinking I'm pregnant, maybe it'll kick in when I can actually feel the baby.
Sept 21st: Baby is 12 weeks today!! Time is flying by.
Oct 17th: Went in for a check up today. She found the heartbeat immediately, said it was around 140 bpm. She also said I'm dehydrated and not eating enough protein. Set up my gender scan for November 20th at 3.
Gender scan went well! The OB said everything measured okay, but she didn't go into detail about anything at all. Baby wanted to hide the goods with a leg, but finally moved it. We're having a BABY GIRL!!! I'm so floored! There's SO many boys and mine and DH's side, I figured a boy was a definite. But we are so happy! DH is gonna be so wrapped around her finger, haha.
He came up with a name: Julie. He gave me some choices and I liked that one. So, she's gonna be Julie Frances. Frances is after his dad (his middle name was Frances). Tomorrow, I meet that "24" week mark that I've set for myself to be the week I can allow myself (and others) to buy stuff for her. I'm excited to have made it this far!
Feb 10th - I suck at keeping this thing updated! I'm 32 weeks and 2 days today! HOLLLLYYY CRAP! 32!! I'm due in less than two months. Crazy-ness. We had a baby shower this past weekend and got LOADS of goodies! I'm excited because most of my big ticket items were bought for me, WOOT! Julie bounces around in there alot. She's most active between like 5 and 7 at night. I stare at my stomach alot. When Tim puts his hand there to feel, she immediately stops - haha. Last night, finally, he did feel her rolling around in there. It's not so much jabs and punches anymore, it's ...rolls is the best way I can describe it. It's almost like her butt goes from one end to the other. Makes my tummy look funny. Doc visits are at every other week, now. Just trudging along here!

Hello all!
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...s-positive.jpg
About Me:
My name is Leslie and I'm 30 yrs old. DH (Tom) is 48 (yes there is a large age difference and NO I dont have daddy issues, my dad and I had a good and healthy relationship). We were married May 19, 2012 so we've only been married a few months but we've been together a total of 3 years. Its both of our second marriages, I do not have any children prior to this baby but Tom has a son. I got married to my high school sweet heart and it was a horrible abusive relationship. I met Tom and I cant believe how happy he makes me, total opposite of my ex. You live and you learn. We were in no way TRYING to have a baby but we had talked about starting to try in the fall so we're not much earlier then we had planned. Tom teases me saying that had we actually done it when we planned to then I'd have backed out b/c I would have been too scared and put it off... he's probably right to be honest. Everything happens for a reason and I believe getting pg before we had planned is a good thing. We're both so excited about this baby and I'm thrilled to finally be part of a birth board!!! I've been a member of the Thinking of Conceiving boards for years. I think I've wanted to be a mom since forever so very excited to finally get to have the chance! Look forward to getting to know each of you!
