Hi my name is Tonya, I am 30 years old and DH is 33. We have been married for 6 years and have a 5 year old daughter. I have an 11 year old daughter from a previous marriage. This will be my 3rd and last child. This is also my first ever planned pregnancy! We are hoping for a boy!! I am starting this pregnancy way overweight. I am 5'3" and 200 lbs. I was the same size for DD#2 and only gained 10 pounds while pregnant. Shooting for the same this time.


EDD is Apirl 7th 2013

1st appointment with Midwife: August 23rd - It could have went a lot better. I wasn't very happy with the center or the midwife. I am going to see how the next appointment goes before I make a decision to find someone else.
1/28/13- I found out I have Gestational Diabetes. I have an appointment on Friday to speak with a specialist about it. I will be adjusting my diet in hopes that will be enough to get my sugar levels under control.

2/23/13 I had my baby shower today. My BFF and my threw it for me. It was wonderful. I have the best time and got the cutest things! I am so blessed.

Also, my blood sugar numbers are not going down so I was put on Glyburide top lower it. SO far they have had to up my dose twice and my numbers still are not under control. I may be put on insulin very soon. I hope they will do the c-section early (37 weeks) so i can get my body back and get rid of this Gestational Diabetes. Its really messing up my body and not good for the baby.

3/19/13 My blood sugar is still an issue. It isnt being controlled the way they like. we are doing the best we can with the meds and the diet though. One of the main issues I am having is Sugar crashes as low as the 40's.

I'm Jess (25), and FH is Paul (27). We've been together for almost 7 years now, and we're getting married in just a few weeks on September 1!

FH was diagnosed with testicular cancer in April 2011, so TTC went to the front of the line. He had surgery to remove the affected testicle, and goes for regular monitoring now to make sure it doesn't come back. It wasn't in our plan to TTC before the wedding, but having a family is very important to us. We didn't want to wait too long in fear that the cancer may come back, and they'd have to take his other testicle (so far, no sign of that!).

We got a BFP on August 5th, we were very surprised, and very excited!


10 DPO, 4 hour hold at 8:45 PM ^

Appointments:

First midwife appointment scheduled for September 20th

August 21 - Trip to the ER because of bleeding
August 24 - First u/s to determine cause of bleeding
August 27 - First round of bloodwork to set baseline for Beta HCG (33,628!!)
September 4 - Second round of bloodwork, 82,000+
September 10 - 2nd u/s, showed 2 empty sacs measuring 6 weeks

Loss 13.09.12 at 9 weeks

OMG! So stinkin' excited about being here!

A little about me. I'm Marisol, 32. I have been with DH since 6th grade...so do the math! We have a DD Emily that is 7. We have been TTC since late 2009. We had an unsuccessful cycle with IVF in June, and finally got our BFP yesterday. We are very cautiously expecting this baby, and the entire family is praying for a successful 9 months!! They are all baby hungry! LOL!

Hello all! I am new to this posting into a sticky thread thingy...hopefully I'm doing it correct. Anyway, I'm Kristin and DH and I have been married since 9-09. We have a DS who is 22 months. We just got our BFP on 8-12-12. Can't wait to talk to the rest of you and share all our wonderful (and not so wonderful) moments during this 9+ month journey.

About Me:

My name is Alissa, and I'm 32. I have been married to DH (31) for 7 years. We have a 4 year old son named Tristan. We have been TTC #2 since 2010, and I have had two losses since then. Because of that, I went through a bunch of testing and we came up with some reasons (MTHFR mutation, clotting issues, thyroid issues) that may have caused the miscarriages, and we have been treating those issues for this pregnancy. My doctor is monitoring me very closely and responding quickly to my concerns because of my history and health issues, which is why I've already had 3 ultrasounds. Everything crossed that this is our sticky take home bean!

First drs appt - 7/24/2012
First u/s - 8/6/2012 - We have a hb! 98 bpm
Second u/s - 8/13/2012 - 132 bpm
Third u/s - 8/16/2012 - 156 bpm
8/21/2012 - appt with OB and brief u/s - Everything looks great and SCH seems to be healing!
9/5/2012 - appt with OB and brief u/s to check for hb - Waving, dancing baby!
9/24 - NT Scan and OB visit - hb 166 - NT measurements normal, u/s tech said she thinks it is a girl!!!
10/24/2012 - Regular OB visit. HB in the 150's, weight looks good, fundus is measuring on time, everything looks good.
11/19 - Anatomy/gender ultrasound scheduled with OB visit - It's a boy!!!!!
12/17 - OB visit + 1 hr glucose - Diagnosed with gestational Diabetes
Next Visits - 1/9 - Growth U/S and 1/15 - OB appt

Hi, I'm Elizabeth (31), DH is Justin (30) and we got married October 29, 2012. I've been wanting a baby for like 3 years now, but DH wanted to wait. Six months ago I convinced him to go for it and here we are already pregnant! We are super excited! Got our first bfp at 9dpo and the digital said "pregnant" on 11 dpo.
