Well.. first let me just say that YES this is Jessica. When I tried to log in under babywings1, it wouldn't let me. I sent a message to Missy, if I even did that right, so hopefully she can help me out. I'm using DH's 100 year old desktop and let me tell you.. I had to download so much stuff just for it to work it's CRAZY. I've been using my MAC, but Julie decided to puke all over it and it died. Horribly expensive computer just...sitting there. And it's cheaper to buy another laptop (not a Mac) than replace it, so we're going to do that until we have some extra cash to fix my Mac. It was the FIRST time I dragged out the computer while I was feeding her and she decided to puke all over it. UGHHH Anyway, I had to reroute my internet and cable..we have a looong cable running from a bedroom LOL it looks SO bad. But we got online and then I had to download things to make this monster run. Anyway, I'm thinking maybe that's why I couldn't log in.
Julie has not been a happy baby. I was throwing up Tuesday morning and asked DH to stay home with me. BIG MISTAKE! He's not used to her 24/7 and she wasn't happy - kept screaming and arching her back. Even though I was miserable I ended up taking care of her anyway because he just wasn't...capable. He took a nap (butthead) and woke up to her screaming some more. He started cussing and throwing things. Not at us, but in general. I mean, he was being a total jerk. So, before I hurt him really bad (kidding......sort of.....) I called the pedi who told me to come in. She gave us some Zantac to try and said if it seems to be working I can switch formula back to Similac Sensitive (I'm currently using Nutramigen..which is expensive and STINKS). She said if the Zantac doesn't work than we can try some baby stool softener/laxative. I really thought it was an issue with her poop but the doc seems to think it's an issue with her acid reflux. (She weighed in at 10lbs 7oz) So, we went and got it...gave her two doses that day. That night, she smiled a little and went to bed. Next day she screamed a little in the morning, but it passes fairly quickly. That night, for two hours, she climbed on me and smiled smiled smiled. Last night she was fussy, but not horrible. I pray this Zantac is working. She still seems to have issues, but not like they were. I hope it stays this way. I love those baby smiles. Even DH wants to hold her more now because she smiles at him. He was getting down because she was crying all time, especially when he was holding her. He doesn't seem to understand that she's just more comfortable with me because she's with me ALL the time.
So anyway, that's my really long update!
