BTDT Moms - What baby products are your must haves?

Thought it might be fun (and hopefully helpful to anyone trying to make up their minds about what to get) for us to post the baby products that are must haves in your opinion.

Mine is a temporal thermometer. (Doesn't have to be that particular brand, I don't even remember what brand mine is.) Trying to take an infant's temperature by keeping a thermometer under their little arm is ridic! The temporal thermometer just slides across their forehead, and you're done. I love mine and buy one for every new mom I know.

What are yours?

Miracle Blanket - the only thing that got my son to sleep as a newborn

Holly - YES!!! Absolutely. I was awful at swaddling with a regular baby blanket, and swaddling was a must for the first 3 months of T's life (he would. NOT. sleep. unless he was tightly swaddled.) Swaddling blankets like the miracle blanket are totally a must.

We did cloth last time and will this time too (yay for my hubby, who will be a SAHD again this time for baby's first year), so I'll add Bumgenius dipes to the list.

Breastpump was a must for us, too. I am not looking forward to pumping at work again, but it's worth it!

Oh, great idea!!

For pregnancy, my must haves are a Snoogle (the pregnancy body pillow) which is ridiculous looking but totally amazing. Also, a great pair of jeans. I don't mind spending a decent amount on something you love because you wear them all the time, and they still go for a ton of money on eBay. Smile

For newborns, I would have to say my swaddle blankets. I got pretty good at swaddling DD1 (she was swaddled or would NOT sleep until she was about 8 months old!!) and I used two blankets at a time. I'd also have to have a play mat. I never thought she'd like it, but I got one as a gift and it ended up being her perfect place to take a nap until she was about 15 months old. Wink
