Can't keep up with this baby!! - PHOTO ADDED

My sweet little easy baby has become quite the little handful lately! She's mastered the army crawl and moves right past all of her toys to find anything and everything innapropriate to chew on! She bites everything she sees, even people!!! lol. She chews on furniture, books, cords, the handle of the oven warming drawer, shoes, whatever she can get to before you notice and get it from her. It's like having a new puppy, hahahaha. Also, she has this draw to books. If she even catches a glimpse of someone holding a book, she's like, "MUST CHEW!!!!" and will overcome just about any obstacle to get to it! It's a lot of fun, but also exhausting ... and no matter how often we clean the floors, her face and onesie are filthy within the hour. My DS wasn't independantly mobile until he was much much older and wasn't really into crawling anyway, so this is all new to me. She has zero interest in learning to sit up either, so no peaceful moments of her sitting and playing with toys, lol. She's lucky she's so damned cute!

This is a common sight in my house!

Wow army crawling. We have crawlers on this board, its wild. I feel like we are so far from that. But even though Henry is not mobile, that doesn't stop him from chewing and grabbing. I think he might be teething because he is chewing on everything too. Like hardcore. I'm not looking forward to cleaning the floors more often when crawling happens. I must find a cleaning person, if Henry were crawling he'd have a face full of dog hair.

Well, remember Henry is almost sitting up right? Emma is almost a full month older than Henry and isn't anywhere close to sitting up. She's got her own idea of how to do things. As for the cleaning, I have a dog too and it's been a nightmare. I vacuum the floors at least once a day and she's still filthy all of the time. I'm looking forward to her getting on her hands and knees for crawling so her belly isn't dragging all day. She gets up there and rocks a bit, but then falls down and goes back into her army crawl. My DS didn't crawl until he was over 9 months old!

That's awesome! Lucas hates tummy time.. so I have no idea when he will crawl haha.. but he pulls himself up from a slanted laying position on pillows.. etc. He just wants to sit up, he does not like laying down anymore. It's amazing to me how every baby is different!

Once he starts crawling, I will have to vacuum and mop a lot more that's for sure lol It's been 3-4 years since I had a crawler Blum 3

OMG I love that picture! That is flipping hilarious!!!! What a funny girl! Elizabeth, I think Reid is almost a month and a half older than Henry and he isn't crawling or army crawling yet. If he has somewhere to be, he rolls there. LOL Like Joan said, every baby is different. T was soooo lazy, he didn't roll at all until he was almost 6 month old, and he didn't even army crawl until he was almost a year. I was sooo worried about it, and then he started crawling on his hands and knees all of the sudden, and then walking and then running all within a couple of months. And now he's five and you could never tell that he was ever behind any of his peers. Babies just do stuff when they are good and ready and not a moment before.

That photo is hilarious! I am not rushing Henry at all. He is so busy right now that I cant imagine trying to keep up with a crawler. But I do hear that babies are happier when they start crawling. He doesn't really sit up on his own. He leans forward in bouncy seats and his tub, but flops over immediately. Right now we are all toes. His pedi asked me if he put his toea in his mouth yet...I told not in his mouth but he does grab them and she says "oh help him get his toes in his mouth like this" (she puts his foot in his mouth)...ever since then he just wants his feet in his mouth. He even tries putting his foot in his mouth while nursing.

Hmmm... I didn't realize it was important for them gnaw on their feet!

So adorable!!!!!!! How did we get to the moving stage with these babies so fast?
Kylie is just now starting to pull herself to what she wants. She will roll all over the floor though to get where she wants to go.

It really amazes me how different babies will take totally different paths to mobility. It's incredible how much their personality and preferences play into it!

Wow that's funny! My daughter army crawled for awhile and was always so hairy lol! Judah is rolling both ways and "swimming" but he's not moving too much yet. He will tend to move backwards some when he's on his tummy.

My son also crawled before he could sit up. So I never had the nice phase where they just sit and play with toys. I don't feel ready for crawling because that means I'll have to actually watch the baby more often. Today I left him on the floor in the kids' room and I forgot he was there!
