So, this past weekend I threw up my spicy chicken sandwich from Wendys. Even in the beginning when I was having horrible horrible morning sickness, I could usually keep those down.. Now I don't ever want another one LOL
But it's weird, because if I really really really something...and I eat it, it never hurts my stomach. Everything else does though. Maybe I should start telling myself that I really really want everything I eat.
If only it was that easy...
I haven't stopped having food aversions either! The last time I ate a spicy chicken sandwich, I swore I'd never do it again, lol. I would love to convince myself that everything sounds good, but my stomach says otherwise. I have been sticking to fruit, veggies, crackers and dip. My stomach seems happier that way! I've never been able to eat alot during pregnancy until the end, but by then I just feel like there's no more room for food! Hang in there!
In the earlier stages, I was really picky and if it wasn't something I wanted, I would gag trying to eat it. It made packing for work lunches really difficult. I always brought a Cup o Soup with me because I knew I could eat that (which got me a "Does your doctor know you're eating all of that sodium?" comment.) A more open minded appetite has just emerged within the last few weeks.
Ha, maybe you should just eat whatever your body tell you.
I am not craving a lot of specific things right now, I just find that I am SO HUNGRY. I just ate a 6" sub and a small bag of chips for lunch, which would be plenty under normal circumstances, and I seriously feel like I didn't even eat. I feel like I could easily sit down and eat another 6" sub and another bag of chips. And maybe a cookie. LOL!!!!

I am craving am the randomest stuff: Totino's pizza (not going there due to trans fats), pudding pops (which you can't even buy any more), a shroom burger from Shake Shack (all I'd have to do is drive 12 hours to get one!) and fresh, real Japanese ramen in vegetarian broth. At least my sweet husband got me a blueberry decaf coffee from Dunkin Donuts and a sweet potato tempura sushi roll - he's doing his best to fulfill the cravings he can!
I never had morning sickness. My only real good aversion was meat, which turns my tummy even when I'm not pregnant.
One of my absolute favorite things in all the world is a chicken biscuit from Chick-Fil-A for breakfast but the last two times I've tried to eat one (once early on and last time was this past weekend) I've gotten very very sick after. Needless to say I no longer want to eat them ever again either. LOL Pregnancy does some weird stuff to us huh?
Maybe the spicy stuff triggers your M/S...oh wait you said you can normally keep those down. Just thinking though, they tell you to eat bland to keep from throwing up. I unfortunately am giving up spicy foods again. Heartburn is back in full swing. Boo.
I'm still craving cold and crunchy. I love fresh carrots, celery, and pickles right now.
With this pregnancy I have mostly only been able to eat chicken and pork. Just the thought of eating beef makes me gag! Unless we're talking brisket! ;-P lol I love me some BBQ! I have been craving fried tators with sour cream and cheese alot!
