    Default Disappointed...

DH's birthday is on the 8th. I know what I want to get him, but..part of his gift I wanted to get a newborn onesie that says I love my daddy. I'd LIKE it in pink camo, but... just the saying would have been okay. I strolled into Walmart thinking it'd be an easy find and I can't find ANYTHING except a buckle for a pacifier. So now I'm bummed. Yeah, I can order it online, but he's got my debit card right now and I don't need it...and I don't want to tell him that I'm getting it. My mom says she's got somethings for the baby shower that say I love my daddy, but..I dunno, I guess I just wanted him to have something from me that said it.

I'd also like baby girl to come home in something that says that. Yes, this is my first child too, but I want him to be a very proud dad...lol

Have you tried anywhere else? I know I saw some not long ago in Target?

I've learned that they don't sell anything in stores anymore. It's incredibly frustrating. I went to babies r us to register and they looked at me like I was a crazy person for wanting to register in the store. They told me to do it online. I was like yeah, but people that are age 60 and older are not going to go online and I want to make sure your store carries it, bc its the only one in town. And of course, they didn't even have simple white baby clothes hangers. They had blue and pink, but no white.

I went to walgreens and cvs last night to look for Floradix iron supplement and neither of them had it. So I ordered it online.

Maybe you can buy a plain onesie and some fun fabric (maybe they have camo at the fabric store) and get some fabric glue and make one?

Leslie, no I haven't looked anywhere else, but I'll definitely check out Target, thanks!

Elizabeth, you're totally right. I hate that I had to register online and more than half the stuff has to be ordered. I KNOW no one is going to order stuff from online, they're probably going to buy it on the way here...haha

Like Elizabeth said, you can always print out an iron-on transfer or buy the transfer letters and make something.

I'm sure he'll be a very proud dad no matter what her shirt says.

I like the idea of making one with either fun fabric or iron on letters. A white onsie that says "Daddy's Girl" in pink camo letters would be adorable.
