I don't have any plans. I bought some cute door decorations and DH said we could carve pumpkins...but I was mad at him at the time so I think he just told me that to make me not mad anymore. I didn't live here last Halloween so I'm not sure if we should expect any trick or treaters.
We don't have any Halloween parties or activities planned. And since Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, we will probably stay at home and hand out candy. Unless I can come up with something cheap and creative, we might be skipping costumes this year. DH and I used to be super into Halloween. But we got married close to Halloween last year so we didn't do anything and it seemed to have started a trend.
I love seeing the little kids all dressed up! I can't wait to have a kiddo to dress up. I went to a party a couple years ago where there was a baby burrito. The baby was only like 4 months and was swaddled in a silver blanket and it had a knit hat on that had paper beans, lettuce and tomato glued to it. So cute!
Elizabeth - I've always loved Halloween. When I was a teenager/early 20's, I used to drag all my friends to every haunted house I could get too. Now it's like, we don't have the money and it makes me sad... Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday! DH DID take me to a Haunted House down the road a little bit. A friend of mine told me about it so we went this past weekend. Yay!
I will take DS trick or treating. He really wants me to be a witch for some reason, so I'm gonna pick up a cheap hat and wear some black stuff I already have. Easy.
Im going to be taking my kiddos trick r treating. We usually do the Halloween fairs on the weekend and then the night of we go door to door. They end up with wayyy more candy than they need, but its so fun watching their faces light up!! DD is going to be a bumble bee, DS1 is going as a dragon, and DS2 is going to be a lil alien monster. I just need to find some blue tights and shirt to go under his costume.
