    Default Exhaustion

Anyone else feeling exhausted ALL the time? I have so many things I need to do around my house and I dont want to do anything but lay down. I hate this! I thought by the second trimester I'd be feeling this "burst of energy" everyone talks about but to be honest I feel even more tired and just flat out exhausted all the time. I dont know what to do. I have way too much to do to feel like this.

You know a couple of weeks ago I had extreme exhaustion. Today I had a sudden burst of energy. But Im sure the extreme exhaustion will go away soon. I have been going to bed earlier in general, so maybe thats helping me.

I have been going to bed earlier lately (until tonight... getting ready to go) and nothing seems to help. Not even naps during the day. I seem to just wake up equally or more tired. Maybe I'm not getting restful sleep?

I'm sorry you're feeling so tired. Could you be dealing with anemia or something like that? I'm not as exhausted as I was during the first trimester, although I am way lazier now than normal. I took a nap today, which is a rarity to me. I love naps, but I rarely bother taking them because I'm busy, but today we had the laziest Sunday ever. I was passed out on the love seat, DH was semi-comatose on the couch watching football, and T was lying on the floor behind the loveseat (it doesn't back to a wall) watching Looney Tunes on my laptop. I joked that we looked like Jonestown, the Morning After.

I feel extremely tired all day long. Im not sure if its the pregnancy or just that my body still hasnt accepted the time change. I used to go to bed around midnight and now I find myself going to sleep by 7-8 and I still feel super exhausted! I hope your feeling some engery coming back soon.

I get really tired in the afternoon sometimes. I try to take vitamin B every day and that seems to help. I never feel as exhausted as I did in the first tri sometimes but I do get randomly tired.
Oh and I get really tired just going on walks... I think that just means I'm out of shape though!

Yesterday - I had all this energy. Of course, DH was home and I was super stoked about seeing him...so that may have had something to do with it. But today? I was exhausted at 5 o'clock. Granted, I didn't get a nap, but.. 5?? Usually I get tired around 1 (that's usually my nap time) but I catch a second wind around 4. Today, nope.

Is your ticker accurate? I see it shows you are 16 weeks. I was super exhausted all the time until the weekend before this last one which was right around the 16 week mark for me, then I finally got that burst of energy-did a major kitchen sorting/ cleaning that Sunday and have felt much more energetic and able to eat normally ever since-I still get tired, but I am actually able to do things besides lie on the couch all evening when I get home from work on at least some nights of the week and I can cook and eat again. Maybe you are just around the corner from feeling more energy yourself. I know I kept thinking once I hit 13 weeks that I should be feeling better since that is what I consider the end of first tri, but it just took my body a few more weeks to really feel better.
