Feel like crying..

I don't know what's wrong. Hormones I guess. But I feel like at any moment I'm going to bust into tears. I hate feeling sad for no reason...and then DH doesn't really understand because for him, you need a "reason" to be sad.. so I have to try and be happy around him.

But he's at school so ... I have no one to take my mind off of this.

Awe! Sorry you are feeling blue.

What helps me is to watch a sad movie and just let myself cry. Then I am better.

(I was watching last season of Glee on netflix and burst into tears this morning. hormones!)

I'm not a big TV/movie watcher. When I DO watch stuff it's Food Network, Hoarders or Extreme Couponing. (Yeah, I know..weird shows to watch..lol) but.. there's nothing on I wanna watch right now. I have Wipeout running on the TV, but it's muted because I'm just not interested in it.

I'm also kind of getting worked up about my doc appt tomorrow. I've heard the heartbeat, so ..I know it's there.. and I'm not entirely sure what they're gonna look for or check. But even though it makes me feel better that the heartbeat is there, all I can think about is that movie What to Expect When You're Expecting - when the couple goes in for the gender u/s and the tech is like...you're measuring small and that night she miscarries.

Totally shouldn't watch movies. Ever. Or read anything on the internet.

Jessica - I'm sorry that you are feeling so emotional. :bigarmhug: Definitely hormones. What time is your appointment tomorrow? We expect a full report! They will probably listen for the baby's h/b there in the office too. Please don't let movies or the internet scare you...you're almost 16 weeks, you've heard the h/b, you're golden!!!

I'm sorry you're feeling sad. I do think hormones play a lot into emotions during pregnancy-I cry way easier than I usually would. I can sympathize with the nervousness before appointments as I had tons of anxiety before every appointment with my last pregnancy but everything was always fine. I agree with the advice to stay away from anything that causes pregnancy scare.

I'm sorry lady...hugs! It's the hormones and sometimes guys just don't understand. Cry it out...even if you need to go stand in the shower and just cry for no reason.

That stinks ... HORMONES!!! I know this sounds crazy, but when I had moments like this with my first, I would look up pictures of puppies, lol. It always helped.

LOL Puppies always help. Smile Have you guys seen those pictures of that crazy dog Maddie that stands on things (lol, that's got to be the dumbest description ever, but I don't know how else to describe it....)

Here is an article about it. Just try not to smile at Maddie standing on things. Just try.

ETA: The official website with all of the pictures. :biglove:
