Default For First Time Mom's who need everything

The carseat thread got me thinking. I had a book when I was pregnant with DS. It's called Baby Bargains. Baby Bargains: Secrets to Saving 20% to 50% on baby furniture, gear, clothes, toys, maternity wear and much, much more! (9781889392400): Denise Fields, Alan Fields: Books
This is the BEST book for scoping out baby gear. It lists everything you could ever need for baby, expert reviews and reviews from moms. It rates things throughout the price ranges too and helps you decide what to splurge on and what to save on. It was a lifesaver and I HIGHLY recommend looking through it before buying/registering.

Yeah, don't listen to the BRU registry that tells you what you "need" - talk to your friends if anything and maybe take an experienced mom with you to register.
