Getting to know YOU/chat thread

So we've had a check-in for our baby stuff, how about just a getting-to-know-you thread? I've been a bit MIA lately because my pc was down and posting on my phone was too time-consuming.

I found some on another board and there are 50 total questions so I will just post 10 per week (on the same post possibly) to answer a bit at a time. Feel free to use this for chat as well!

Ok I'll start. ;)

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Yep, my mother's maternal grandmother (Victoria) and my father's mother (June). My parents were all about family names and we so aren't!

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Whoops, this was in the last thread but whatever. :) Last time was over something hormonal when I was feeling like crap and DH wouldn't help me.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? It's ok I guess. Sometimes I like it more than other times because it's not always consistent.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Well right now none of them, lol, besides technically not being able to eat them, they've been an aversion of mine for awhile. Normally though, I like a good deli white American cheese and roast beef is yummy too.

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS? Yep a black calico kitty cat and a leopard gecko.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? I think so! I am a pretty friendly, down-to-earth person and I tend to make friends pretty easily.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? I use it some but I wouldn't say I'm sarcastic in nature.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yep! And my appendix... but no wisdom teeth.

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? Maybe... it would depend on who was with me and how persistent they were in getting me to do it. I would probably do it with my hubby, he's pretty persistent.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Kellogg's Cracklin Oat Bran

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? No. My name is Jessica and my mom said she wanted to name me Carmella (SO GLAD that didn't happen).. but in the end she chose Jessica because she thought it was pretty and NO ONE was named Jessica around her. ....of course, now there's a million of us, but I'm pretty fond of my name. My middle name is Ryan and I get a lot of grief for it, but I like Jessica Ryan. Go mom!

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Just finished. I'm a hormonal mess. I cried all weekend, then today I rented What to Expect When You're Expecting and cried like 10 times throughout the movie.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Yes, I've always been told I have nice handwriting.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Corned Beef. Mmmm....

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS? Yeah - two miniature schnauzers Smokey and JoJo. And yeah, I treat 'em like my kids. SO spoiled.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Yes. I'm ALWAYS there for all of my friends, even though the favor is hardly EVER repaid.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? I use sarcasm all the time. I roll my eyes a lot too. When people first meet me I know they think I'm a B**** but, I'm not.. it's just the way I come off.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? HECK NO. That requires falling and that down feeling makes my stomach hurt.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Count Chocula and ...depending on my mood I like Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I don't generally eat cereal though. I'm not a big breakfast person.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
Monday, reading the news about the panda bear cub that died at the National Zoo. We were just there in late July.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
I think it's awesome, but no one else can read it! ;)

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT?
Tofurky in nearly every flavor. I had a fake beef-n-cheddar the other night and it was SO FREAKING GOOD.

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS?
Four chihuahuas: Lola, Chibi, Crow, and Minnie.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?
Maybe? I am always hyper-busy and most of my friends work in my office or have known me forever. It's hard for me to make new friends because I just don't have the time to invest.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT?
No, no way, not me! ;)

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?
Yes. (I was always jealous of the kids in school that got theirs pulled - I wanted the all-you-can-eat ice cream!)

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?
I have! And I would never do it again. I threw up!

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?
Cap'n Crunch.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? No. My dad actually decided he didnt like the name my mom had chose so while she was passed out he filled out my birth papers before she could get to it. He cant spell either so my middle name is spelled Danial instead of Dannielle... lol

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
Yesterday while wathing A Baby Story

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
No, it sometimes looks like chicken scratch when im in a hurry.

Im not really big into lunch meats. But when I do eat sandwhiches its usually turkey.

Probably, I tend to think im a pretty nice person.

My mom saw my name in Rolling Stone magazine. Some guitar player's wife. She was just barely 19 when I was born, if that helps explain it. ;)

It's fine. It's not particularly "pretty" but it gets the job done.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Nope... my mom just picked my name out of a baby book because quote "it was beautiful" sometimes as a kid I wished I had a more common name, but as I get older being the only Sylvia is nice.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Earlier today, couldn't even tell you why. Darn hormones.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Yeah, its okay.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Not a fan. Usually I don't even eat meat, but pregnancy always changes my tastebuds and I crave meat.

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS? Yep, two dog... Jack and Bean. They are a jack-a-poo and a Chihuahua

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Yeah, I'm a pretty nice person. Sometimes to a fault.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? Yes, but all in good fun

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Nope, taken out when I was 5

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? No, maybe skydive, but bungee jumping seems scarier. I couldn't tell you why.
