I had my 12 week appointment today and mostly everything went well. Baby's HB is good, she said it's in the 150's. Everything is good but my blood work from my 8 week appointment came back weird. I got a high level of something, I forgot what, but it's whatever tells them you probably have syphillis. Fun, right? Anyway, I am 100% sure I don't have that. I've been married for 10 years, it's not like there is any possibility. And I didn't Google symptoms, but I have zero so I know I'm clear. (LOL) She said that it's quite common to get a false positive during pregnancy because other levels of things are elevated (I didn't catch the specifics of which things) so I just had to have more blood work today to look further. I wasn't exactly expecting that, but I guess it's not the end of the world. I just have to follow up in a week to make sure they got the results.

Anyone else ever had that happen? Last time my blood work was totally fine. So weird.

And I still think it's a girl with a high heart rate. I may attempt to talk DH into the early U/S to find out the gender.
