    Default Hayrides?

My class and I are going pumpkin picking next week, but it's a long hayride and it's very bumpy. DH isn't thrilled with the idea and actually told me I should reconsider going. What do u think? I've googled it and don't see anything that goes against it. UGH, now I'm stuck. Of course he gave me a guilt trip... "with what you went thru to get pregnant, I would think about risking it for some hayride."

If its very bumpy then I would not risk it either.

Call and ask your OB what they think.

Yeah I've been to this farm a couple of times, and their hayrides are long and def bumpy.

I wouldn't do it, but that's because a long, bumpy hayride would make me nauseous when not preggo.

I am planning on going on a hayride on Sunday and am not worried about it (although I have been on this hay ride before, and it's not particularly bumpy as I recall...) Honestly, I think our babies our protected by some of the best shock protection systems in the world, and I really don't think that even a bumpy hayride is going to do anything, but I would ask your OB. If your OB says it's okay, use that in your argument with your DH. If your OB says no go, will you be able to have someone else go with the kids?

I just went on a hayride this past Sunday, along with my pastors wife who was 35 weeks pg! Ours wasn't very bumpy besides a few parts, but I think just do with what you're comfortable with...

I would think it would be fine. My car is old and has no shocks and its a rough ride. I've even bottomed out pretty hard. I have to say it does worry me though. If you're worried and you can get out of it, then id say skip it. But if you have to go, I think you would be fine.
