Well we are bracing for what they call one of the worst storms to hit since the 90's in our area. Last night we went and bought 2 cases of water, some milk and hopefully later on we can get to the grocery store and get a couple of things. Our governor is getting ready to declare a state of emergency which means we probably won't have school either. UGH, I really hope we don't loose power!!! I hate that!!!! So if I'm not around on Monday or Tuesday its because we have no power.
**Oh and a side note. Tried to get the HB just now and I think the baby was running a marathon in there because I kept loosing it!Then he finally settled down and I heard it for a few min, what a beautiful sound!**

Good luck with the hurricane!! I just got REAL PISSED at my boss because we're running out of bread at the store. I order the bread a week out and he knows it, there's no way to just..."get" more. And he was all like..OMG WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF BREAD. Plus, my vendors bread is almost out. Um, HELLO, there's a HURRICANE COMING. This always happens.. hurricanes, snow storms - whatever. We run out of bread and he freaks out. Funny that he finds time to complain to me about vendor stuff, but if anything is out that isn't a vendor, then *thats* okay.
Anyway, I do have a question. Why do you buy milk in a hurricane? I've always been super perplexed by that - it's gonna go bad if the power goes out. I'm not trying to be mean, just..curious. I do hope you ride it out okay, we're only supposed to get some wind and rain, but really they have no idea where the hurricane is going so... we may get more or less.
Good luck!
LOL, well it's not supposed to pass till at least Monday morning and I had no milk. So I still have Sat, Sun, and most likely Monday.

It looks like it is going to be pretty bad by me. It's very windy outside already and it started raining. I doubt we will even have school tomorrow either since it technically hasn't hit us full force. I'm nervous, the wind sounds so scary right now. UGH!

We are not too bad and we are literally the only block with power right now!! It's so crazy! So we are holding out hope that it stays that way. My dad just came over to stay a few days since almost everyone in neighboring towns do not have water or electricity. Our shore towns are completely destroyed. They are evacuating the hospital nearby their generators failed, all I hear is sirens! CRAZY stuff!!

I'm glad you are okay!!! Those pictures are scary looking. I was talking to a friend of mine today - since we live in VA, we've seen a lot of hurricanes, but.. we were talking, do you know if NJ or NY has ever been hit full force like that? I can't remember a hurricane every BYPASSING us, and hitting New England.
Regardless ((((Hugs)))) glad you're safe!
