I'm not sure if I dropped or what, but I feel very different today, like I can breathe. I first noticed this morning that I was able to hunch over much more than usual, and I'm just much more comfortable in my belly/chest area. I also had a little nausea last night and this morning which I haven't had in forever. Very mild, but it was there. It's so weird being able to feel your body changing in such a short time period. I have an appt today and I think this will put me at my weekly visits.
Hopefully that means that your body is gearing up for birth. You are 36 weeks right? When did your DS arrive? On time, early? Or are you expecting 40 wks? I know they say every pregnancy is different, but it seems like my friends with multiple kids tend to have similar arrival times with their LO's. Keep us posted on your appointment.
DS was a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks and 3 days, and I never started to labor, so most likely I would have made it to 40. Most women I've heard of tend to gestitate similarly too and I've been expecting to go to 40 with this one, but who knows?? This pregnancy has been so different from my last one.
Congrats on being able to breathe again and Good luck on your appointment today! Hope everything goes well!
I was a little bummed my MW was pulled away for a delivery and had to see the OB. He's fine, but we were supposed to discuss my birth plan. The appt was find overall though. He mentioned that it seems likely this is going to be a big baby (which is not news), but doesn't seem concerned about it. I had my GBS swab and he checked my cervix. Soft, but still high and closed. Weekly appts now!!
