No AF is a good sign but I can see how it can be confusing with no BFP. Were you sure of your Ovulation date?
I remember one time I didn't get my AF and kept testing every few days wodering why there was no AF then I got a BFP on CD 47 so I must of ovulated really late or my cycle was messed up. Hope it's the same for you!
I've only ever missed my period 1 time in my life and that is when I was pregnant. I'm very regular though. I suggest seeing the dr., since you had similar problem last cycle.
I have been doing lots of reading up today and implantation can take up to 2 weeks.
Average is between 7 and 10 days and it can take up to a week for hcg to be released as it takes a little whe for it to burrow in and the hcg levels to get to your wee.
I read it can be up 19 days from conception for a + bfp.
A woman I worked with never got a bfp earlier than 2 weeks after her missed af.
I really hope this is the case for you.. And a bfp is just round the corner.

My last pregnancy - I got a BFN the day before my period was due. Started my period the next day...and (dont ask me why I tested, I don't remember) got a BFP the day after my cycle. It was very strange, but apparently my body still thought it was time to release the egg, even though there was no egg to release...
I usually dont get a positive on a urine test until 6 weeks so you aren't out until the witch shows! I have a friend who even at 9 months does not get a positive on a HPT.
