It's like a little bean!

Haha, when my daughter saw babys first ultrasound pic she said it looks like a little bean. She kept asking me if it's a boy or girl and I had to explain to her that we won't know for quite a while. My appointment today went well. Got to see babys heart beating and it even moved a little! I was a little bummed because I have had my heart set on trying for a VBA3C but my OB said he didn't think I could since i've had so many previous c-sections. Other than that nothing to really update on. Hope your all doing well!

What a cute little bean! Sorry bout being upset about the vbac. I've only had csections and honestly my thoughts are,,,,, why ruin a good thing lol. Its all I've ever known and the peopple who think that you aren't a woman or aren't strong if you don't have a vb can shove it Smile you don't have anything to prove with a vbac as long as little bean gets here who cares how he/she gets here!

I agree. Smile My definition of "a good birth" is one that ends with a healthy baby and healthy mom. Smile

Anyway, sounds like over all a great appointment, and yay for seeing your adorable little bean!!!

I attempted a VBAC with my daughter and still ended up with a csection.

I'm going for the repeat this time and have the most faith that Im making the best decision for both of us Smile

That's a cute little bean you got there Smile

Yep, they do look like beans, don't they?
Being a huge supporter of VBACs (having had one myself), I think it would be hard to have one after having 3 csections and way more dangerous. What were the reasons for your c-sections?

My first was because the dr told me I had to have a csection because baby was breach and he didnt want me to labor. My other 2 were repeat csections. My mom said shes relieved they wont let me try because she was worried I would rupture since she did with her 4th child.

I'm def not trying to bash vaginal births when I say this but with working in the medical field that I do I think c-sections are great. Vag births 'can' (using this loosly) wreck havick on you pelvic floor muscles. Obviously not everybody with a vb has incontinence problems but you are less likely to have those issues later on in life with csections. So there are always +/- to both ways and your way is always the best for you!
