Default I've been in the L&D ward all day

Hey ladies. I'm on the L&D ward. Don't *think* I'm in preterm labor, but we'll see.

It all started because I called my doctor because my blood sugar has been low for the last several days. They asked me about baby's movement, and I really hadn't felt him much today (it was still morning though) so I said that, so they automatically sent me to L&D to get an NST. Everything was fine with the baby (moving, hb) but while I was hooked up to the monitors, they noticed I was having contractions. They must be small ones, because I couldn't even feel them. Since I've been here, I have felt a few, but nothing too painful. So then they did a cervical check, and I am 1 cm dialated, but I guess that's not that uncommon since I've had a baby before. So now I am waiting on the results of some test where they check you for a protein that your body gives off when you are going into labor in the next two weeks. I'll keep you all posted.

ACK!!! Ok what's up with the LOs wanting to come play!?!?! Rocket must have heard about the other LO wanting to come early so he's all excited, too!

Take care of yourself, mama! Get some VERY much needed rest and keep that little man going for at LEAST 4-5 more weeks!!

Alissa, I'm glad everything is ok! Get some rest and tell Rocket to stay put until 37 weeks! I know he's a big guy, but he has some more baking to do!

Thanks everybody. I ended up going home around 5 pm yesterday. They told me to call my doctor if I see an increase in contractions, but the only thing is that I wasn't feeling most of them to begin with, so it's hard to know if I am increasing. LOL Anyway, I really do think that it's fine. I have my regularly scheduled OB appointment tomorrow, so I am going to talk to my doctor about it more then.

Jessica - sorry to worry you! Hopefully Rocket is listening to all of us and staying put for at least another month.
