How are you feeling?
Feeling decent. My tailbone hurts every morning and I still have that weird abdominal burning pain thats constant. Sometimes its just barely there and other times I'm like whoa that hurts.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share?
Henry Arnone. The middle name is DH's mother's maiden name. We are keeping it a secret from his whole family. He is the last of the Arnone boys to have kiddos.

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share?
Yes I bought my crib sheets and supplies to make a mobile. I'm going for a transportation theme. Boats, planes, bikes, subways, buses. We also want to print out photos of our travels and put them in colorful frames.

What are you craving these days?
Sweets. In particular, brownies. Also as of today, cheetos. My boss ate the last package in the snack box at work and I was so bummed.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle?
I'm having a family only shower that consists of 30 ladies who I have never met. And a friends shower later.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where?
We talked about going to Austin for a weekend. We have lots of friends there. Plus its just a fun town. But not sure we can make it work. We are moving at the end of the month and booked every weekend it seems.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far?
Sleeping is becoming difficult. Reaching for things and bending down are also getting hard. Shaving is still manageable, but I think in another couple of weeks I will change my mind about that.

What are you watching on TV these days?
I'm a season behind on everything bc we don't have TV. But we just finished the first season of Downton Abbey and I love it! Also getting into Homeland. And my regular comedies are Parks and Rec, 30 rock, New Girl.

Do you like to read, if so what?
I used to love to read, but now that I have these dumb architecture exams I don't read much for fun. I read lots of architecture study material and I'm halfway through "Milk Memos" thanks to Alissa. That one is more fun than the architecture ones by far.

What are your favorite winter activities?
Staying indoors, crocheting/knitting, drinking hot drinks and watching TV.

Any new years resolutions?
To have more fun, to get outside more and to be on the internet less.

Anything else you want to add?
I desperately need a haircut but can't decide if I should go short or not. I have to make up my mind soon, I have an appointment coming up.

How are you feeling? Big lol, i know i probably am second guessing myself but feeling that way anyway.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? Yes Sadie Elizabeth is her name

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? Ladiebugs i think

What are you craving these days? Still fruits and veggies, nothing too sweet although a Giradelli chocolate never hurt anyone right..or two or three lol

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? shower considering this is our first and last girl:).

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? no

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? The nausea and the wanting to sleep alot still is frustrating cause 2nd trimester is suppose to be more energy right lol.

What are you watching on TV these days? Baby storys(they make me all emotional lately lol)

Do you like to read, if so what? I have read all the Twilight series, use to like romance novels but don't have much time for reading.

What are your favorite winter activities? n/a

Any new years resolutions?none really

Anything else you want to add? ack i can't believe we all are getting so close to our due dates, April is right around the corner ladies.

How are you feeling? Blah and exhausted. Smile I still get nauseated on occasion and randomly throw up, but thankfully that is not too often.
Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? yes and no. Smile we will share the name once we have met him.
Are you thinking about the nursery yet? not yet.

What are you craving these days? I feel better when I eat protein, thankfully the carb/sweet cravings have lessened. I don't really have specific cravings.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? I hope not! I hate getting presents from folks, I get embarrassed about it I guess. If my friends insist I will insist on a Mother's Blessing instead. I had one for Sam and it was so wonderful and powerful.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? We just had a vacation in November, nothing else is planned.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? Having knee surgery at 12 weeks was not fun at all.

What are you watching on TV these days? we don't have cable and no local tv stations. I mostly watch Netflix. Lately I have enjoyed the documentaries.

Do you like to read, if so what? I love to read, but I don't have much time lately. I read most anything. I love my kindle.

What are your favorite winter activities? I love winter (you have to love winter to survive in Alaska!). I love to be outside, but this has been severely limited since my initial knee injury last January. Next year I will be back on skiis and snowshoes!

Any new years resolutions? I just want to be in better shape. I have done very little since last January for cardio and I am soooooo out of shape. Being pregnant has not helped matters any!

Anything else you want to add? You ladies are awesome!

Elizabeth - I love your nursery idea, with the pictures from your travels. Very cool, I can't wait to see it when it's done. Also, I have the same issues about getting a hair cut. I keep going back and forth, but I think I'll keep it long because pregnancy fat face and short hair don't always mix, lol!

Jenny - I'm sorry you're still feeling neaseaus. Sad

Cristan - I didn't know about your knee surgery, I came to the board late. That must have been terrible.

Here's my update at 26 weeks 5 days Smile

How are you feeling? Big and a bit uncomfortable! Really though, all has been well and I've been very lucky with this one. Generally, I feel great.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? Emma Elaine

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? No nursery, she'll move into our room. I've been thinking of doing a painting for above her crib.

What are you craving these days? I was craving EVERYTHING a month ago, but I've been eating better these days and, thankfully, not been craving too much junk.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? I had a shower already, it was great!

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? No, but my kid is on spring break right before I'm due, so I might start my time off then and spend the week with him before the baby comes.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? It's really been pretty easy for me, but I do get headaches and reflux quite a bit.

What are you watching on TV these days? I sleep a lot, so not much time for TV. I watch more kid's shows than anything.

Do you like to read, if so what? Same as TV, I sleep so much, so no time to read.

What are your favorite winter activities? I'd rather it be nice out! We don't really get much of a winter in GA, just chilly, wet weather, so I'm just waiting for spring.

Any new years resolutions? Nah, I don't really get into that.

Anything else you want to add? I'm just beyond excited! This is so much more exciting the second time around, since I'm not scared or confused or anything. I just can't wait to meet this little girl!

Ha Joan! About 5 years ago I had short hair and I look at all my photos back then and my face is a lot more round and my double chin is more pronounced. But short hair is so much easier to deal with. I will probably keep it long though now that you mention that.

Cristan-I would totally love to get out in some snow if we had any. It's just been in the 20's-30's here and wet and grey. So I'm enjoying the winter from window!

Jenny and Cristan-I didn't know you gals were still dealing with nausea. That stinks.

How are you feeling? Generally pretty good. I'm starting to get back to the feeling of maybe needing a nap to get through the day but have been holding off so far.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? We are still debating. There for a while we thought we had the name decided as Kylee Marie, but then one day DH came to me and said so we're decided her name is going to be Kaylie Marie? And I was like where did that come from...wait, I kind of like that. Haha....so thats where we are.

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? Baby will be in with us, until we can get back to work and move into a bigger place. So, we are thinking of DH making a drawing above where her crib will be(DH can draw! Yay!). I'm loving all the owl stuff that is out there, but...kind of wanted to stay with the color purple and all the owl stuff seems to be based around pink...so yeah.

What are you craving these days? Don't really have much cravings. One time I really wanted ribs and my mom made them for me and then one time I really wanted Chinese so we had that for dinner, but nothing major yet. DH is getting all the cravings.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? Yes, we will be getting a family shower on my side of the family. Nothing huge and extravagant, but thats alright because I hate being the center of attention, so I am good with that.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? No, would love to, but no extra money right now to do it. I'd rather try and do something with the older kids over the summer if we can.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? Having no energy to keep up with the 13 and 6 year old.

What are you watching on TV these days? We love Chicago Fire and NCIS

Do you like to read, if so what? Love to read and love my kindle, especially since I have no energy to do anything else..haha. I mainly read romance type books, but also really like John Grisham.

What are your favorite winter activities? I used to love to snow ski, but then hurt my back so I can't do that much anymore. And my family has always done the snowmobiling thing too.

Any new years resolutions? Nope

How are you feeling? Pretty good over all. I was mentioning on another thread that I am literally having a little bit of a "pain in the @$$" LOL which I suspect is from my glutes working harder to keep me balanced, but other than that I'm feeling pretty energetic and over all very happy and content. Smile

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share?
We're not telling anyone in real life until he's born, but I *think* we may have the name picked. It's not set in stone yet, but I think we're both happy with it and probably won't end up changing to something else. So for the time being, this little guy is Zander Reid. Zander is kind of a tribute to my brother, whose name is Alexander (he goes by Alex.) With T I kind of wanted to make his middle name Alexander for my brother, but DH reallllly wanted "Wyatt" as the middle name, so we ended up naming him Tristan Wyatt. I brought it up again this time that I would like to do something with my brother's name because we are close and I know it would make him really happy and proud, and this time around we thought of Zander and we both like it, so I think that may be it. Or, if we find a name that we like even better, Zander may end up being the middle name. Like I said, not set in stone yet. Smile

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? He's just getting T's old bedroom. That may sound mean, but all of the stuff is in really good condition, and it's still cute, and being a baby, I don't think he'll mind. Smile T's bedroom has blue walls with the outlines of different animals (ducks, elephants, lions, penguins, all sorts of stuff) hand stenciled in white at about chest high. My SIL drew all of the stencils and helped me paint them on last time, and it still looks really cute. The curtains are white with blue dogs and bones and stars, and the crib bedding is blue and white and brown with stripes and stars. We also have some animal prints on the wall. I think I'm going to do those wooden letters to spell out the name (when it IS set in stone) to hang on the wall, because we had some for Tristan that he has always loved, and those will be moving with him to his new room.

What are you craving these days? Sweets, which sucks because I can't have them!

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? If anything, a very small family sprinkle, and probably a small work sprinkle. My SIL was talking about throwing me one, but I'm not sure if she ever decided on anything or just forgot about it. Which, honestly, is totally fine with me. I have pretty much everything I need since I kept all of T's stuff. The only thing I am looking for right now is warm newborn clothes (since T was a summer baby) and I would also like to get a ring sling. Beyond that, there isn't really anything I need anyway, so I'm just as happy to skip it because I don't want people to feel obligated to get me things, especially when I need so little.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? Doubt it. We talked about doing a weekend in Santa Fe over DH's winter break, but that didn't happen so I doubt we'll end up doing anything.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? The first 12 weeks when I had the SCH were NERVE-RACKING!!!! But things have been easy since then. I guess having GD and having to monitor what I eat is kind of a challenge, but I honestly don't find it too hard so that's not a huge deal.

What are you watching on TV these days? I just started watching "The League" with DH. It's a show about a fantasy football league, and I don't get a lot of the sports references, but the way the guys interact with each other and their families is funny.

Do you like to read, if so what? Yes, I read all of the time. Mostly fiction, but I also like some non-fiction and biographies. I'm currently reading "Dwarf" by Tiffanie DiDonato (it's an autobiography about her life with dwarfism and her decision to do bone lengthening surgery) and after that I am going to read "Swampland" and then "A People's History of the United States." I used to read about a book a week, but that's slowed down quite a bit since T came around. Smile

What are your favorite winter activities? Reading, curling up by the fire, eating. LOL

Any new years resolutions? Just to try to continue the healthy habits (walking, eating well) throughout my pregnancy and then getting back to real workouts once the baby is born and I get the doctor's okay.

Anything else you want to add? Love being on a BB with you ladies!

How are you feeling? Okay I guess. Tired.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? Yes, her name will be Julie Frances. Frances is DH's dad's middle name and since he passed away, DH wanted to honor his dad. I'm fine with it, I'm honestly glad we're going this route because if it was a boy, we were gonna use DH's dad's FIRST name, which is Charles...and I refuse to call my baby Chuck.

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? I've thought about it, but no effort has been made and nothing has been bought. I like pink (but, I like more hot pink than regular pink) so...the baby is gonna like pink too. Haha.

What are you craving these days? Nothing much. My taste for chocolate came back though... I went for a few months with zero candy because I just never could even think about eating it. Soooo, I may or may not have downed a bag of chocolate in 2 1/2 days.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? I'm having a shower. However, since it was first brought up, no one has brought it up. The original "friend" that was supposed to throw it - she hasn't been talking to me much. I don't think she's mad at me, but she's all consumed with her boyfriend, so..I think she forgets about me until she needs me. I don't really want to hurt her feelings and tell her nevermind, I'll get someone else to throw it, but then I don't want to wait until the last minute either.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? We want too, just maybe a weekend together at a hotel or something. It doesn't have to be fancy, just away from my po-dunk town. However, the budget might not allow for it.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? The concern and worry.

What are you watching on TV these days? I watch a lot of Food Network and HGTV. When DH is home we watch NCIS, Cops, and Criminal Minds.

Do you like to read, if so what? I love to read! I don't do it much lately though because I'd rather just nap. I like Harry Potter, the Shopaholic Series and anything by Dean Koontz or Stephen King or James Patterson.

What are your favorite winter activities? I hate winter and try very hard to not go out in it.

Any new years resolutions? No, I actually posted on FB that I'm staying the same. Mean and hateful. LOL. I'm not actually mean OR hateful, but I think a lot of people think I am at work because I'm kind of anti social.

Anything else you want to add? You ladies have been wonderful to me throughout this pregnancy. I look forward to coming on here and reading what's going on with you all.. I know we'll all be busy with new babies, but I really hope everyone will reach out and KIT occasionally.

January Check-In/GTKY
A new year, a new month, time to check in...

How are you feeling? Been good lately. Had a lot of groin/pubic bone pain and a friend suggested a chiro and the difference is AMAZING! Tired more this time with my daughter keeping me busy but really not bad

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? We have decided it will be Rylee Jean. We had thought Delaney for awhile but our last name is horrible and being a teacher there are so many names that I just have horrible memories of lol. I like the way Avery and Rylee sound together. The spelling is a bit of an issue because I like Ryleigh but Dh does not. His mom likes Riley but that is more masculine lol

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? We are using same as my daughters because she is moving into a big girl room so it is brown and greens. No real theme

What are you craving these days? Not much. I didn't really have any with my daughter either.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? I mentioned to DH a sprinkle would be fun with just close family and friends both male and female but not sure. We really don't need much so I am ok with nothing too.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? Nope. We are doing some family trips this summer when I am off because I am a teacher

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? Having the other kid makes the rest and relaxation hard. I am sitting at my 3 hr glucose test while typing this and that has bothered me lately. Also I am way bigger than I was with my first and constantly feel uncomfortable but 12 more weeks is worth it

What are you watching on TV these days? dH and I are HUGE tv people. We watch so much it is crazy. DVR is our best friend. We love the cop shows and I am obsessed with parenthood and private practice

Do you like to read, if so what? Love to read. I read so many different things but right now I am reading the twelve which is a sequel to the passage. Loved the passage and am liking the this one so far but not the same

What are your favorite winter activities? I am not a winter person. I coach basketball which I guess is a winter activity

Any new years resolutions? My resolution is on hold but after this baby and knowing it is my last I want to get in shape (being if the hormones did a huge number on me weight wise) and we hope to really focus on all school debt being gone

Anything else you want to add?

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? I've thought about it, but no effort has been made and nothing has been bought. I like pink (but, I like more hot pink than regular pink) so...the baby is gonna like pink too. Haha.

Funny about the hot pink thing. I have always liked purple and have tried to buy my daughter purple things and guess what her favorite color is now? Purple! So it is possible to convince them. Wink

How are you feeling? Pretty good still, it's hard to bend over now and I get out of breath a lot (I need to walk more) but overall I can't complain too much.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? Nope we haven't! We've talked about names some but not enough. We're last minute name people.

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? We're probably just going to use the colors that are there already. I'm actually thinking more about the kids' room than the nursery since that's the room that will change the most to accommodate both kids.

What are you craving these days? I don't feel like I have huge cravings or aversions right now. I just like food.

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? No plans for either at this point.

Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? We just got back from almost two weeks away for the holidays so no plans for travel anytime soon.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? About THIS pregnancy? I think knowing that I still have a while before baby is born. With my other kids, after the holidays I was in the home stretch and this time around I really feel like it's going to go slow.

What are you watching on TV these days? Not much lately - DH is watching the playoffs now... I watched some Teen Mom the other day lol. DH gets burnt out on TV which means I don't get to watch it much either.

Do you like to read, if so what? I do like to read but haven't read much lately.

What are your favorite winter activities? Nothing in particular. It's not really winter here, just cooler than summer.

Any new years resolutions? Not really, but exercising more is becoming more apparent - at least walking more because grocery shopping has me out of breath! Also, we are going to work on revamping our bedroom and the kids' bedroom so thinking more about that now.

Anything else you want to add? I just got a "you look like you're about to pop" comment today... and I have four months left. Ack.

How are you feeling? Ok, I am somewhat tired and I have a lot of pressure "down there" and some pubic bone pain. Nothing too bad, but compared to DD#1, I am feeling this pregnancy a lot more.

Have you narrowed down the baby name list? Care to share? I think so but I will start a separate thread about names for input (when I get around to it, lol!)

Are you thinking about the nursery yet? Any themes colors you want to share? We are using the same nursery from DD#1. It is yellow and green with pink accents and a stuffed animal theme.

What are you craving these days? Carbs and more carbs!

Will you have a shower or sprinkle? No, I really don't need anything (except diapers!)
Will you take a babymoon? If so, where? No.

What is the hardest thing about pregnancy so far? Balancing work and family with a toddler while pregnant is exhausting.

What are you watching on TV these days? I rarely watch TV. If I turn it on, it is to a kids show for DD for a few minutes.

Do you like to read, if so what? I do like to read, all sorts of stuff but I don't read much these days as I don't have a lot of free time. I am currently re-reading some of L.M. Montgomery's (Anne of Green Gables author) short stories in the bathroom when I give DD her bath since I have all her books on a bookshelf close to the bathroom, lol!

What are your favorite winter activities? Sledding, we took DD last weekend for the first time and she loved it! We stuck to the small part of the hill since she is two and I am preggo!

Any new years resolutions? Get organized before DD2 arrives

Anything else you want to add? This pregnancy is really flying by!
