So be honest, are you doing your kegels? I used to do them whenever I remembered, which wasnt too often. But now that Im doing my childbirth classes, Im reminded to do them more. The book that goes with my online class recommends doing 5 reps of 5, 5x a day. Thats 125 a day...seems excessive, or am I just lazy?

I wonder if it really makes a difference? and if it does how much? I know I tend to forget and only remember usually when brought up by someone... the other board I was on had a thread called Kegels and Bump.... every time you saw that thread hit the top or close to it you would do your kegels and then reply with Bump to bump it up to the top of the list so women would remember more often, it worked for me for about a few days then i got sick of it LOL
I definitly need to start doing them. I forget.
I do them when I remember which is right now... and when DH reminds me. He always tells me to do them but I NEVER remember. I have heard to pick the same time every day - like when you're waiting at a stop light or when you sit down to eat or something. That way you get into the habit.
I tore with my daughter so I think they would help me not tear. But I also feel like I have pretty strong muscles there already so I don't know how much more I can tone them.
