K'Tan Breeze

I'll try to post a pic later. Just wanted to say that I love my new K'Tan breeze. As much as I have loved the Moby, I'm thinking that I will end up getting more use out of the K'Tan because its lighter for summer and frankly easier to put on in a parking lot. Also, I don't think that the Moby has a forward facing carry, which I can already tell that Reid will want when he is big enough for it. He prefers to be carried facing out when he's in your arms, so in sure he would prefer it in a wrap as well. The K'Tan has one. Finally, it made me realize how big he's getting. I was trying to put him in the K'Tan in the newborn hold, but he already hates having his legs all crunched up, so we did the next hold (hug hold maybe?) and he loved it. Luckily he has great head control because that one offers a lot less head support. Anyway, I like the K'Tan a lot. We went grocery shopping in it today, and he did great. Pics later.

Joan, do you like yours?

I think I need to exchange mine. I ordered an xs because I have a very short torso, but it's way too small. I'm even hesitant to reorder a small. Also, I'm confused about the fabric. I tried it on but couldn't figure out where the mesh was supposed to go vs the fabric. Can I see some pics?

Mine is an M, but I seem to recall that you are fairly slender so I can't imagine you needing anything larger than a S. The site said to get the same size that you would wear in a dress. It also says that they stretch out with use, but shrink again in the wash. I think I'm going to need to keep mine washed pretty regularly until Reid gets bigger because I wouldn't want it much looser. Mine is pretty much just right as it is.

Here are some pics.

Okay, it's hard to see because of the black color, but I've been wearing mine with the mesh part holding the baby to keep him cool, so I position it so that the solid cloth is looping through the back loop, and the mesh part is facing "out." For some reason my phone will only let me post one picture per post, so I will do a series of posts (sorry for serial posing Elizabeth.)

Here I've got the loops hanging down. Everything hanging in front of me is mesh.

Trying to show how this is all mesh. I have lowered the one strap down now.

Reid in the hug hold (I think that's what it's called. Will have to look at the book again.

I like those, they're cute! I've always done the hug hold with my ring sling, I really don't like the newborn hold, seems unsafe.

Thanks! I still need to send mine back. I appreciate the play by play and the bonus Reid pic! He's a handsome little fella.

Looks awesome, I may have to buy one. The Moby is way too hot. I do like my mei tai but it doesn't have a forward facing carry.
