    Default Mastitis Sucks

So I woke up yesterday morning feeling like I had been run over by a truck. I had a 103 degree temperature and my boob is all red. So the midwives say its mastitis. Freaking hurts. Feels like the flu, in combo with sore boobies. I hate nursing him on that side. I'm super engorged on that side already. At least today I haven't had any fever. Thank god. It's so hard to take care of your LO when you feel that awful.

You've had such a rough time these past few weeks. I really hope things start getting easier for you.

I have had mastitis with all 3 kids. Ugh. I know exactly how you feel. Like a truck ran over you. With a freaking sore boob.

Did you get antibiotics or are you trying to get rid of it naturally?

Oh I got the antibiotics. I don't have fever anymore, but the boob is still sore and red. Hoping it goes away soon! Feels much better than it did on Wednesday! Sorry for being so whiny ladies. Thanks for listening!

You're not whiney! You've been through so much in the past few weeks! You can always vent here.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. I hope your boob is feeling better today.
