    Default need labor/birth position ideas

I have had 2 knee surgeries in the last year on my left leg. I am still not able to bend it much past 90 degrees, I can't kneel since it is too painful on the pins and wires nor can I squat due to lack of strength and limited flexion.

I still cannot sit on a ball since it is too low (limited flexion) and I can't control the ball--it keeps rolling away and I am afraid that I am going to fall off of it.

How in the heck am I going to labor and deliver this baby? I am having a real mental block over this.

Your going to a hospital right? Does you hospital have one of those beds that converts to many positions? If so you can try the birth chair position. Or on your side. For the labor just try to keep moving any way you can. Try standing to have gravity help you.

Yeah, we are doing a hospital delivery. I will have a tour on March 14th, so I can check out what they have. I think they have tubs which would be wonderful!

With Sam I spent most of the time on the ball and kneeling which is why I am worried that I won't find a comfortable position this time.
