    Default Neon yellow pee!

So all of a sudden the past couple of days my pee has been bright neon yellow like mountain dew. it sometimes occasionally looks like that and I know I should be drinking more but it has been like that ALL day today. I guess this baby all of a sudden decided it needs water bad! I know I haven't been drinking enough lately and it's been harder when I was nauseous because chugging water made me puke so I'm glad its just now happening. Anyway what do you girls do to make sure you get your water in during he day? I struggle with drinking enough but what helps me is the Crystal Light Pure drink mix that just adds a bit of flavor. Also flavoring the water with citris of some kind is somehig I could do me of. O also carry a water bottle with me everywhere but my kids have started taking drinks of it so I have to watch them or they will drink it all!

Have you switched prenatals by any chance? I have a few different kinds of prenatal vitamins and one in particular makes my pee neon yellow.

I too struggle with drinking enough. I keep a bottle of water at my desk and I usually fill it up 2-3x while at work. I also drink peppermint hot tea in the mornings sometimes and at night I either have water or water with a tad bit of gatorade. I'd like to start refilling my water bottle 4-5 times a day. But water still grosses me out, so I have to sip on it, instead of taking huge gulps.

I keep a huge cup of water at my desk that I try to remember to refill a couple of times a day. I like water pretty well, so that's not a huge problem for me. At home, I drink a lot of carbonated water with lemon juice added. I loooove that! It's fizzy like soda, and I love the lemon flavor, but it's almost no calories (just whatever calories the lemon juice adds) and no sugar. So yummy. I drink a TON of that at night; if I'm home all day I can go through a 2 liter in a day..

    Lemon flavored water? Oh LOL

My pee has been different colors throughout the pregnancy. I know if I take my prenatal late at night and then get up to pee, it's neon. I take a liter of water with me to work, if I don't finish it.. I force myself to finish it when I get home. I don't drink a lot of fluids anyway, so ...this "drink more water" crap is ...crap. LOL

I keep a water bottle on my desk at work but I get behind and I really feel wiped when I don't keep up. I do keep some Gatorade handy and that helps.

I was going to ask the same thing... did you change or add vitamins or suppliments to your diet? That can definately change your pee to a bright neon yellow. I know my urine has been all sorts of colors from yellow to near brown yellow. I have also noticed it to be SO cloudy like you can't see thru it at all in the bowl. I know TMI lol. anyways... I am with you with straight water... the thought of it has me running to the bathroom.

Sorry I never updated on this but it was indeed my prenatals. I had just started taking some samples my m/w gave me. So I asked her and she said yes, they can do that to some people.
I only had about a week supply so when I stopped taking them, my pee stopped being green!

Yep I take the Rainbow Light prenatals and my pee is always neon yellow with those. I think its the B-vitamins. I took B-vitamins for a pinched nerve about a year ago and I had the same thing happen.

YES I think it is too. These were Shak-lee vitamins, very expensive, I think twice as much as Rainbow Light and they had B in them. I would like to start taking some better prenatals (now taking Centrum for Women multi plus 400mg of folic acid). I just don't like the green-ness of the Rainbow Light so not sure.
