Nesting

So the nesting has begun for me. I'm full on 100% in nesting mode. I have done like 12 loads of laundry this weekend. I have purged, re-purged and then purged again. I have several bags of donatables...I hope I don't regret that. I organized the bedrooms, cleaned the fridge, organized all my important documents. I'm pooped, but full of energy. It's weird.

Anyone else nesting?

Nope. I managed to clean the kitchen today, in between bouts of sitting on my butt.

I've been cleaning even though DH says to just sit back and relax.. but I feel this uber need to get it done.. But nesting? Not yet.. Smile Glad it was productive for you, though! Biggrin

Oh well yes.. but it had nothing to do with baby stuff. I was just cleaning up the house. lol.. Dishes had to get put away and clothes washed. Smile I usually associate nesting with baby-based stuff.

I wish. Haha, I have been so lazy lately. My big accomplishment today was refilling all of the soap dispensers and cleaning the toilets. Super proud of myself for getting that much done....

Adriana, mine was only somewhat baby related. Most of it was normal house stuff, but I went the extra mile...so I think I owe that to hormones!

I'm givin you props for doing all you did, regardless of the reason. Go on witcha bad self!! Wink I've been bummin all day. ROFL

We really need to get the crib out of the box at least to make sure it's all there. DH won't get movin on it. Maybe if I start he'll get mad that I'm doing it and come actually help. This could work!

Adriana, that would so work with my DH too. Haha Good luck!
My DH did go and get the crib yesterday and put it together all in one day. Over the past couple of weeks we have really been getting our bedroom moved around and cleaned up to make room for all the baby stuff coming in-seems to be the catch all place for everything.
I don't think i'm in nesting mood yet, but I feel it coming on because all the clutter is really starting to bug me. We are in a two bedroom apartment for now since moving back from FL and until DH can get back to work. So having four of us in here is nuts, then to bring in the added baby stuff..it's going to be tight for a while.

Elizabeth, I don't remember exactly when - but about 3 weeks ago (so, about 29 weeks along, where you are now), I went super crazy in the living room. I mean, moving the couches, vacuuming the vents, vacuuming IN the couches, sweeping, dusting, laundry..

However, it only lasted a day. LOL

Does having the "urge" to nest count??? I am just so tired but I want to get things done. Slowly we are making some progress. We moved my daughters room around and then now the baby's room is almost set... Laundry for baby is done and but sometimes I just feel like I can't get ahead... I look forward to this being my last pregnancy and getting healthy and on track again so I can hopefully live a normal life lol

Aimee, I'm like you-I have the urge, but not the energy most of the time. I wish sitting on the couch and mentally cleaning actually accomplished something, lol! I think working full time drains my energy, I usually feel fine at work, but come the weekends, I am too tired to do as much as I thought I would be able to. This last weekend I wanted to get all this stuff done but I was having tons of really uncomfortable BH so I ended up napping and lying around trying to make them go away. Once I went back to work on Monday, of course I felt fine, go figure.
