I went for my second ultrasound this afternoon to follow up with what they saw (or didn't see) from the ultrasound on August 24th. Apparently I was mistaken, they didn't see anything at that first ultrasound. Today, the tech showed me two, identically sized but empty gestational sacs measuring 6 weeks. She kept assuring me that women "get their dates wrong all the time", but her expression changed when I said that I track my cycles, my BBT, and know my date of ovulation. So, I think that this is the end of the road for me as far as having an April baby. All I hope is that I'm pregnant again by then.
My family doctor should get the reports tomorrow or Wednesday, and will call me to let me know what he thinks I should be doing next. Needless to say, I'm pretty bummed about this..
I'll keep checking in on the rest of you, but I think I'm going to take a break from pg.org for a while

Jessica (26) - TTC Plans on hold while DH finishes chemo
Losses 13.09.12 & 10.04.13
Jessica, I am so. sorry.
I totally understand taking a break after a blow like this. Please take good care of yourself, and keep us posted on how you are doing if you can (totally understand if you just don't feel like it.) I wish there was something I could say that would take away the pain and disappointment, but I know there isn't. Just please know that there are lots of women here (myself included) that have been through loss and will listen and support you if you feel like talking, yelling, cursing, et cetera.
Jessica, I'm so sorry!! I think taking time to heal is the best is best! Please remember we are all here for you!
I am so sorry for your loss. I totally understand needing to take a break for a bit to heal.
Oh no I'm so sorry Jessica. Thanks for keeping us updated. I understand about the break.
I'm so sorry. I wish you had better news. If you want to come join the ttc after a loss board I have found it very helpful and the girl there are very nice. Big hugs to you.
Oh Jessica, so sorry to hear this news. I know how painful it can be. Just know that we are here for you if you need us... I strongly suggest visiting ttcal board. It's very supportive there and you will be surrounded by people who know what you are going through.
We'll be thinking of you and please do visit us and give us updates when you are ready.
I've been watching for your update. I'm so very sorry it turned out like this I'll be popping in over on the TTCAL board if you feel up to chatting or need to vent...come on over. Please KUP on how you are doing. I hope the physical part is resolved fairly painlessly and quickly for you. Loss is just so hard...((((hugs))))
