Default OT: OMG! They are everywhere!!!

What is going on??? We have stinkbugs everywhere! we usually see them this time of year but buildings everywhere are coated with them, I kill several a day that I find in my house... have no idea how they get in. Where ever you go around here they are everywhere, in everywhere.

Dh did a search the other night and there was an article saying how bad this year is. It listed do's and don'ts:

    Don't squash them
    Don't vaccum them

They said the only best way to extinguish them is to pick them up in toilet paper and flush them alive. My septic must have a million of them swimming around... ewwww even that is TMI for me!!

Ew! Texas we had a serious cricket problem when I was in high school. I remember crickets being all over the floor of our school. I remember driving to the movie theater and the parking lot was black because it was a blanket of crickets...and if you rolled your windows down you could hear them crunch under your tires. Still gives me nightmares. Now we just have the nation's leading problem with west nile mosquitoes. I hate mosquitoes, what is their purpose?

I hope when winter comes and those stink bugs go away...where do you live?

Ewww, I found one last year on my bed and I had never seen them before and I freaked out!!! My brother gets them a lot too. I've seen things you can buy to help get rid of them.

I can not stand bugs! We have cave crickets... I think thats what they're called. We have a downstairs part of our house (kind of like a basment but more like a split level) and we get them in the bathroom down there and in the hallway some. SOOOOO gross! I dont deal well with bugs. Good thing my husband doesnt mind killing them for me! Yuck, hopefully yours will get lost soon. This year has also been really bad for fleas! Our poor furr babies have had a time with with flea drops and everything. I love this time of year and HATE cold weather but this year I'm all "come on winter!" just so all these creepy crawlies will go away!

Leslie - we call them spider crickets here and I have them in my laundry room. UGH its making me twitch just thinking about them. Fleas have been a big issue here too... my dogs never have fleas and all the sudden are eaten up with them.

Its crazy, our cats are inside cats and our dogs are outside dogs (inside at night) and some how the cats seem to be more bothered by fleas then the dogs. I hate em!
